Tiger Woods Admitted to Hospital as OD Posted Dec 8th 2009 1:00AM by TMZ Staff
Tiger Woods was admitted to Health Central Hospital the day after Thanksgiving as an overdose.
Sources connected with the hospital tell TMZ the admissions chart lists "OD" and that he was having trouble breathing.
We're told the fifth floor of the hospital was put on lockdown when Tiger arrived. Tiger was admitted under an alias -- William Smith. His wife, Elin Nordegren was by his side.
As we first reported, Elin gave paramedics two pill bottles at the accident scene -- we now know the prescriptions were for Ambien and Vicodin. Tiger was in and out of consciousness, snoring at the scene, and our sources say he clearly appeared to be under the influence of something -- not alcohol.
We're also told doctors used a breathing tube to assist his respiration.
We're also told hospital officials changed Tiger's alias after a few hours to another alias because they feared people would find out he was there.
So, it’s possible that all of his dalliances came to light because he was “sleep driving”?

If Tiger had to be intubated, yet was discharged the same day, it would have had to be against medical advice. Does anyone know whether the 5th floor is ICU?

HIPAA is only there to make sure relatives of a patient can’t make sure the patient is getting adequate medical care.

A third potential alias -- "John Daly" -- was discarded when it was learned that a fellow by that name had already been admitted for identical symptoms (including a golf club stuck in his cranium) earlier that day. It was Mr. Daly's seventeenth visit to the hospital for similar symptoms in the last five years.

It is amazing that Obama has time to pose for golf magazine covers with celebrities yet take 1 year to come to a decision on supporting our troops in Afghanistan.
So, what are the 10 tips Tiger gave Obama? I can think of one-DUCK.

That is exactly what HIPAA did with my grandson -when he was no longer able to be responsible for his care (brain tumor), with the paper work signed properly- my son could not get the needed information on appointments etc. The answer was alsays “We have informed him, you will have to ask him”. Would it have made a difference? We will never know. We buried him a week ago.
