People magazine is reporting that Elin Nordegren plans to divorce Tiger Woods.
In its issue that arrives at newsstands on Friday, the magazine quotes a source close to Nordegren as saying, "She plans to leave Tiger."
It cites another source a saying, "She's made up her mind. There's nothing to think about: he's never going to change."

Meanwhile, Nordegren has been photographed around Orlando this week without her engagement or wedding rings. MSNBC.com reports that she was sending a message.
"She knew what she was doing when she stepped out and pumped gas without her wedding rings," the site quotes one source as saying. "There are plenty of people who would have filled the tank for her so she wouldn't even have to be photographed. She chose not to go down that road. Moreover, she chose to make it clear those rings were not on her. No hands shoved in pockets, no hiding. Remember, she's still one half of a couple that has had, up until recently, a most-crafted image. She knows what she's doing."

he knew that going in and decided to continue whoremongering, he deserves to lose every bit of what he will have taken from him. actions have consequences and he’s learning that lesson.

And following that thought - this could actually be the best thing that ever happened to Tiger.
If things kept going “well” - if his PR people kept succeeding in covering up his behavior, then Tiger would simply have kept going further down the same road.
Now he has a chance to change direction.
Hopefully he will choose wisely.
There is a reason the Catholic Church has annulements.
This is a classic case for annulment.
Tiger committed fraud against Elin - brought her into his life and convinced her he was serious about marriage and family. He didn’t mean one word of it.
The Church recognizes when a sacrament is not valid especially when one person has been fooled.
There are many good catholics and christians who have had marriages annulled and gone on to live good lives.
There is nothing in Catholic teaching that says women have to put up with a disgusting pig that would expose his spouse - mother of his children - to deadly diseases.
The Church does not teach a person must spend their entire life chained to an unrepentent adulterer and liar.
But she new he was a whore monger going in and now she is surprised that he didn’t change.
It just goes to show the old addage.

if, as everyone likes to say, she was a gold-digger, he had far more to lose than she. She has two gorgeous children, whom i am sure she wouldn’t trade away even for all of this humiliation. he is the big loser here, far more than she, and he brought it on himself.

I don’t know that she is. I doubt seriously the whole story has come out yet. I am no defender of Tiger but I am not an admirer of Elin either (except in that yellow bikini!).

That’s my point but boy have I had my backside ripped up by ladies on this very thread for NOT admiring Elin.
i have read the threads and what earned your backside ripping was your maligning her, not just NOT admiring her. we know nothing about her, so maligning her is speculation. it is, however, an objective fact that she has borne tiger two children and he has destroyed their hopes of an intact family.
Well no, I didn’t malign her. I maligned her if certain hypothetical points play out. That is a fact.
