Feds Eye Tiger $ex Probe
The National Enquirer ^ | 12/20/09

Posted on 12/20/2009 9:43:36 AM PST by marshmallow

In a potentially devastating development for Tiger Woods, his growing sex scandal and hush money payoffs have caught the attention of the FBI and IRS.

A top source in Washington, D.C., divulged that in mid-December "discussions were underway" involving those two government agencies about whether to launch a federal probe of the billionaire golfer.

"They haven't pulled the trigger yet, but they smell blood in the water," the source told The ENQUIRER.

"Their interest was heightened when they heard reports suggesting that Tiger may have been paying for high-class call girls.

"It had already come out that Tiger's company may have paid for the travel of at least one of his girlfriends for a recent hookup in Australia. If Tiger is using company money to do it - and if illegal activity such as prostitution is taking place - then they're going to come down on him."

"You can't use charitable, tax deductible money for your own private purposes," said Craig Silverman, a former Colorado prosecutor. "It's also legally problematic if you use non-charitable corporate money for personal sexual adventures."

Excuse me, but when did it become a Federal crime for buying a piece of ass? Maybe a state/local problem but the Feds have better things to do.

If they do this, the race card will be played big time. Tiger will become black in the eyes of the race hustlers.

“See, they’re just trying to keep a brother down.”

Tiger has a charitable foundation which is tax deductible. If he’s using foundation money to pay for hookers, the Feds will come calling.

With David Letterman, you have potential for interstate prostitution. And what about Chris Dod? [Waitress Sandwich.] The list is endless. What’s that latest rat sex scandal with tax money?

The law enforcement community at the Federal level has failed to capture Charlie Rangel, Barak 0bama, Barney Frank, and a whole host of other miscreants. Why pick on Tiger? At least he was a bit more circumspect in philandering, and I don’t think he screwed the whole country...

Probably some bright IRS operative was watching a TV show where a very bright female caller asked the question:

“Did the sluts who received the thousands of dollars from TW report it as income to the IRS?”

The Feds are probably not after TW, the golfer - but the TW’s (Tail Waggers)!

Hey, if the rest of us have to issue 1099s for a variety of reasons, why shouldn’t Eldrick? Moreover, these ho’s should have to pay their “fair share” of taxes on their hush money.

Taxing “hush money”. Now there’s a novel concept! Of course once everybody knows that monies have been paid, they immediately fall into the crosshairs of the taxman.

The more time the LSM and the true media, the internet, is tied up with discussing this asshole’s potential loss of half his shit, the less time concentrating on Climate FRAUD, Health FRAUD, CAPnTAX FRAUD, MEXIFRAUD, ECONOFRAUD and all the other ‘frauds this government is engaging in, the less the cretins of this country become aware of what is really happening.

I hope this ‘madam’ sees a marked drop in her business since she is so willing to talk publicly about her clientelle

They’re going after Tiger because he has money without power. Whenever you have money but not power, those with power will figure out a way to take your money so that they can buy more power.

If you buy a piece of ass across state lines it becomes federal. That’s one of the major power grabs Hoover got when building the FBI, any crime that crosses state line becomes automatically their jurisdiction.

Hmmm, wonder if HE has always followed the rules sexually. No affairs?? no prostitutes??,,,ever?? When a prosecutor is this worried about what another man does witha woman ,,,, it makes you wonder how clean he is too, or if he might be gay.

If you call a girl in Phoenix and have her come to LA to “do your stuff” and pay her that’s interstate prostitution, and the FBI has automatic jurisdiction.

Who was also a golddigger. Think she would have spoken to Tiger if he was just a small town school teacher? She’s not much better than him. He’s bad, but no need to hold her up as some wife of the year. She clearly neglected him if he had THAT much time to play his indoor sports.

"Excuse me, but when did it become a Federal crime for buying a piece of ass? Maybe a state/local problem but the Feds have better things to do."

It's not the sex that's the problem. It's the people who either don't pay the gift tax, or don't claim the income that becomes problematic.

Plus, if you're taking funds out of a organization that enjoys tax-exempt status, and you're using those funds for your own personal benefit or entertainment, that too is a problem. The Feds are right and obligated to investigate both allegations. If they're going to make me pay my full tax liability, they damn sure better be making Tiger Woods - and his whores - pay theirs.

Absolutely. But there it is. Hoover won that battle 50 years ago. I don’t think he even used the commerce clause, he just managed to hammer through that if the crime “happened” in more than one state it must be federal. His primary excuse was gunning for the interstate flight guys, rob somebody in a town on one side of the border and drive to the other side so the state cops in the original state can’t chase you. But of course in the end it was Hoover, he just wanted power, and he had the blackmail ammo to get it.
