"Was it originally posted at the old address?"

Yes, I posted it at both places, not having seen the new location until after I had posted.

But then, I don't get many opportunities to post a poem written on January first, on January first. (So I repeat myself.)

Happy Caturday Everyone

Brrr..It's 26 this morning.
After looking at the national weather..I should not complain!
Stay safe and warm, y'all. Dolly, I'll bet you are knee deep in snow!

I just opened my kitchen blind and its a blanket of white out there and I was stunned. Its 18 degrees out and they always say ‘its too cold to snow’....well, it isn’t!

I posted on the wrong thread yesterday and so did a few others, until I saw your notice to Conor...LOL!

I will try to catch up some today later but right now I am going to make some breakfast! Worked up an appetite!!

Precious kittens, jaycee...
No precip here..
It’s going to get colder back east I see..
It will be milder here but winter just the same...I have already had all the winter I want!
My computer would not load Windows late last night..I stayed up all night trouble shooting...in safe mode and running a full scan.
There went my sleep schedule....again..LOL
It finally worked without my finding a problem.
I fixed a big breakfast very early...enjoy yours.

Adorable, Meg!
I talked to my brother in Georgia and they are in the 20’s. He said it had been bitter for a couple of days. Winter is hard this season. Son says he thinks we will have more big snows....only time will tell.

26 right now, feels like 17. Sure wish some of that globull warming would show itself! Sposed to get colder tonight and tom. Dang! If I wanted to be this cold, I’d move north!

My car door was frozen shut this am. Rained yest...AGAIN. State of NC has finally decided we are no longer under drought conditions. Ya think?! We’ve had 30-40” of rain in the last 2 months, and they’re still saying the water table is low. Obviously, they haven’t stepped foot outdoors in quite awhile!

I wanted to have this for New Year's Eve but I had a problem making the backgrounds transparent and I only have a few of the ladies in the slide show. Maybe I can finish the rest before next New Year's Eve.

Always With You
Behold, I am with you and will keep you wherever you go. —Genesis 28:15

The highway that winds around the southern shore of Lake Michigan can be treacherous in the winter. One weekend as we were driving back to Grand Rapids from Chicago, a buildup of snow and ice slowed traffic, caused numerous accidents, and almost doubled our drive time. We were relieved as we eased off the expressway onto our final road. It was then that my husband said out loud, “Thanks, Lord. I think I can take it from here.”

Just as he finished saying the words, our car spun around 180 degrees. As we came to a stop, hearts pounding, we could just imagine God saying: “Are you sure?”

Why do we sometimes try to go it alone in life when at every moment we have access to God? He said: “I am with you and will keep you wherever you go” (Gen. 28:15). And He assures us: “I will never leave you nor forsake you” (Heb. 13:5).

Scottish mathematician, theologian, and preacher Thomas Chalmers (1780–1847) wrote: “When I walk by the wayside, He is along with me. When I enter into company, amid all my forgetfulness of Him, He never forgets me. . . . Go where I will, He tends me, and watches me, and cares for me.”

What a comfort to know that God is always with us—we don’t need to go through life alone!

As I travel down life’s pathway,
Jesus keeps me day by day;
And although the road is winding,
Yet, with Him I need not stray. —Bradshaw

God’s presence brings great comfort.

That’s a bunch of rain! We are 3 degrees colder than normal for December...I’m looking for those warm days to pop up and give us a break from the cold..We usually get them.
We had one 75 degree day..the next day we had our first snow ever on Christmas Eve.LOL
