The best? First version of “Salem’s Lot”. The rest of King based movies are garbage [except Green Mile, which I don’t include, because I haven’t seen it].

He's too creepy for me. I've only seen a few. Of those I've seen, my favorite.

Christine and Salem’s Lot are about the only two worth watching.

Stephen King is the most overrated American author in history.

alot of those movies are just junk...

Shawshank should be on a list for best movies of all time...

and "Delores Claiborne" is right up as well....

the "Stand" was good tv movie fair....

"Green Mile" was a big disappointment...

That list is pretty ridiculous. The Shining doesn’t make top 5 and Carrie doesn’t even make the cut?

King absolutely HATED Kuberick’s interpretation of The Shining. I always liked the story of Christine, but it wasn’t a very good movie. No Carrie? And although not very King-ish, Stand by Me was my favorite.

I would put The Dead Zone some place in the top 15.

Salems Lot.

In recent years I turned away from his work. He portrays Christians and Pro-lifers in the worst possible light. He also slandered soldiers as illiterate idiots.

No surprise then that it's one of the best horror films of all time!

Hearts in Atlantis was a really good book, but I was disappointed in the movie...and I say that as a die-hard Anthony Hopkins fan.

All I can say is that it (Green Mile) hit home with me.
