Did I just hear Chris Matthews say "I'm a Marxist when it comes to analysis"?
...While trying to make a point about people voting based on their pocketbooks?
How does Matthews survive? First he says Alinsky is his hero, then he says he depends on Marxist analysis. I guess that makes him qualified to be a commentator on MSNBC.
Hey Chris, Marxism is over. I know you and your fellow Marxists don’t want to admit it, but the only truly Marxist countries on Earth are North Korea and Cuba. And who wants to live in those places?
“and to think this clown actually considered running for the Pennsylvania Senate seat against Rick Santorum.”
I don’t think he would be the first Marxist in the Senate.
Thanks for that information...so early in the thread!
No problem. I was a history major and met my fair share of Marxist Historians. While I disagree with their ideology, it does have its moments. I think it tends to ignore everything else to focus purely on the economic, which is a mistake (thus ignoring religion, etc).
Chrissie...you are a Marxist right down to the bone..your color is red and your cuff links are the hammer and cycle.
Marxist? Ah! Why doesn’t he call it by the real name - ie. those opposing recognizing the genuinely competent and accusing them of being moneyed?
Then again, Chrissy is not even brained enough to contemplate ever being accused of any responsability for being this or that.

He is a Marxist-Leninist, and he will be a Marxist-Leninist until the day he dies — just like one of his heroes, Fidel Castro.
