The rumor mill is churning right now about a "big, damaging" New York Times "bombshell" story that supposedly features some ruinous dirt about the personal life of Governor David Paterson. Elizabeth Benjamin at the Daily News hears it "will be far worse than his acknowledged extramarital affair with a former state employee."

Frankly the only thing that's bothered me about this guy during his tour as Governor is that early in the game some of the people who should have been trusted assistants had him signing documents without telling him the truth about them.
It's not fair to kick the blind in the knees.

Looks like the Dems in NY really have it in for the blind Gov. Seems like they have a problem with the disabled. Obama had his retarded Bowling incident, Rahm had his retarded liberals incident, and now NY Dems are trying to off one of their own who is disabled?
He might have been spotted by democrat operatives while attending church or purchasing a semiautomatic rifle.
The Dems really, really want to shovel him out of there, but he won’t take the hint. He was only governor by accident. He was supposed to be a token black & handicapped lieutenant governor, sort of a showpiece, not an actual leader.
I remember the name Richard Ravitch from back in Ed Koch’s day, although I don’t remember exactly why I remember.

Whatever it is, I can’t imagine it’s more self serving or destructive to the nation as the trail of malfeasance that Andrew Cuomo left in his wake at HUD.
As a general rule, I’ve found that the louder the build up, the more feeble the ultimate revelation. I’m expecting to see pictures of his car parked next to a fire plug.
