after a short nap, my hunger overcame everything else and I decided to get up. “Up” meaning “not asleep” not as in meaning “verticle.”

I hadn’t eaten all day. The pain makes me nauseus. But, I got the bright idea a little starch (yeah, carbs) would help soak up the irritation and I decided to eat. As I was heating up some rice, I saw my barbecue sandwich which hubby brought me last night and I didn’t eat, waiting for me in the fridge. It looked good.
It waaas good. I don’t think I’ve tasted a barbecue sandwich quite that good all year.
Prescient.

Thank you all for your prayers for me, my mom and family. I think lysie,Dolly or Jemian kept you updated with mom. It has been a rough past 6 months. But as of last Sunday she is at rest.

Is that a small bowl of grits I wee with this meal? Hope D wakes this morning feeling like she wants to fix something good. The ‘boys’? they would eat sawdust if you put it on a plate.
