I don’t think anybody thought anything. A kind freeper stepped in to help out, but didn’t know the procedure, and now we are stuck with a new thread. The old thread only had 1500 posts.

So I guess we weren’t going to set any records anyway. It’s just weird having a new thread.

I don’t think the number of posts in a thread matters for access, just whether you have graphics on the page you are loading — which you can solve by switching to a 10-post page.

Are we going to be prevented from posting pictures on the thread, so it loads up quicker for people on the left coast who can’t watch with us anyway?

I just realized my son will make us watch the snowboarding live, so I probably won’t get to play in the live thread tonight. Also, that means I won’t get to watch in HD, unless I switch the DVR over.

Oh well. 24 is just barely tolerable when I have the company. I’ll still read the thread while watching, but it isn’t quite the same. On the other hand, I’ll be able to fast forward to anything too boring.
