Posted on 02/21/2010 4:02:28 AM PST by Freedom'sWorthIt
This is a first hand report from JODISPEAK concerning the adverse reaction her daughter has experienced after getting the Gardasil Vaccine!
There is much more out there on the TREMENDOUS DANGERS of taking this vaccine - yet somehow it is being MANDATED by different government entities - such as Texas!
Is just one of dozens of articles sounding the alarm about this vaccine - yet for some reason this vaccine is STILL ON THE MARKET AND STILL MANDATED BY CERTAIN GOVERNMENT ENTITIES!
Please read and ping anybody and everybody you know!
This is extremely urgent!
I hope you are right- but this was posted on the thread that prompted this alert:
“The fact that Texas Governor, Rick Perry, signed an executive order making all girls over the age of 12 required to take this vaccine is a travesty!”
Prayers continue (and many are coming together to pray) for Victoria and the other young women who are in such danger because of the adverse reactions to this vaccine!
1000mg vitamin C
25000 IU vitamin A
5000 IU vitamin D3
500 mcg B-12
daily (young-ish man, 210 lbs)
And hope to never take a vaccine.
A,C,D are supposed to be anti-viral & B-12 is just generally good. I also take glutamine powder when I remember to
New York is trying to pass the same thing. Pure evil.
The trial resulted in a higher death rate than the cancer it is meant to prevent.
As of February 2009, 40 million doses of Gardasil had been distributed worldwide. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the vaccine was tested in thousands of females (ages 9 to 26). The Food and Drug Administration and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention say that the vaccine has only minor side effects, such as soreness around the injection area.
As far as mandating this vaccine goes, I'm opposed to it.
Send treats to the troops...
Great because you did it!
The biggest issue with the vaccine, IMO, is the fact the manufacturer states it should not be given to persons with any strain of HPV. The virus can be transmitted at birth from mother to child or picked up via non-sexual contact. However, there is NO testing prior to vaccination. In the manufacturer literature, it indicates that receiving the vaccine when HPV is present can cause accelerated growth of the virus.
WTF? It means young women are gambling when they get the jab. No thanks.
No, it’s not urgent, and no it’s not a dangerous vaccine. Gardasil is a good vaccine.
I strongly recommend that you look at this article, and the paragraph on Adverse Effects. http://www.cmaj.ca/cgi/content/full/177/5/469 This article from the Canadian Medical Association Journal contains a table showing the numbers of serious events and the numbers of deaths in several studies on the use of the HPV vaccine. There seems to be more leg blood clots than expected, but there’s not proof that the vaccine caused it.
Here’s my summary of information from research on 10 years of experience with the vaccine in trials, and nearly 4 years on the market - and my own watching for news on the vaccine.
Gardasil is made the same way that insulin is made these days: recombinant DNA. In this case, common bakers yeast makes the proteins that cause the immune response.
The age was chosen because thats when kids get other shots and research (on minors) that the younger girls under 15 years old had better immune responses than older women as well as to vaccinate before exposure.
The first trial involved 1200 girls between the ages of 9 and 15. The younger girls had a stronger immune response. We have almost 10 years of experience, now.
HPV is a virus, not a moral issue. It can be transmitted by other contact - picking up skin cells and fluids that contain the viruses - one of the reasons you should wash your hands in the bathroom.
15% of girls begin sex before age 15. Half of girls who have sex before 20 say their first time was forced on them. I’ve diagnosed cancer in situ in girls less than 20 years old — they’ve been infected 3 to 10 years before we can find CIN. At least 2 of these girls had been raped before 15.
The Federal government doesn’t have authority to mandate vaccines in the States. Not yet, not exactly.
However, thirty days after the National Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) recommended the vaccine, State was required by Federal law to buy and distribute the vaccine in the Vaccines for Children program. Those who are eligible to choose to receive the HPV vaccine under the Vaccines for Children program without cost to them include uninsured girls and young women up to age 21, those who are insured by Medicaid, and those whose private insurance does not pay for vaccines at all.
One problem is that the girls are at an age that they get multiple vaccines, when they are starting their periods and when hormone aggravated conditions begin or flare up, and some have even come to the doctor because they’ve started having sex and so they start on birth control pills or depoprovera at the same time they get the vaccine. There are too many variables and too few reactions for reliable numbers to tie down a definite cause.)
Association does not equal causation and the VAER reports hardly equal even association. Theyre really bad examples of reports. The reports of deaths and injuries from Gardasil are poorly documented. The VAERS reports of deaths are especially poor evidence. One death report actually says the patient may or may not have expired.
The reports on the possible vaccine-related deaths are available for viewing at <a href=”http://www.medalerts.org/vaersdb/index.html" the VAERS site,(drop down to the table at the middle of the Page, option #3)using HPV4 (This is the Merck vaccine), at Option#4, check YES at life threatening (or you could check death) and (top of page)Sort by submission date.
The great majority of the adverse effects in the reports include pain, redness, and tingling at the injection site and fainting and headaches. People often faint and complain of headaches after seeing a needle, even without being stuck. It looks awful sometimes, like a seizure. Heres a few samples:
Administered by: Unknown Purchased by: Unknown Symptoms: Adverse reaction Write-up: It was reported from an article, published on 29-JUN-2009 that there were hundreds of life-threatening reactions said to be associated with GARDASIL. This is one of several reports received from the same source. Attempts are being made to obtain additional identifying information to distinguish the individual patients mentioned in this report. Additional information will be provided if available.
FINAL DX: Hodgkins lymphoma, nodular sclerosing, stage IIA. Records reveal patient was pale & had firm left clavicular lymph node. Excisional biopsy done 7/23/09 revealed diagnosis. Tx w/chemotherapy & possibly radiation tx when chemo completed.
Write-up: Vaccine was administered, patient became dizzy 30 seconds after shot. Patient was pale, diaphoretic & nauseous. Symptoms lasted about 45 minutes. BP dropped to 90/50 & pulse to 50/min. 8/20/09 PCP note received DOS 8/4/09. After shots pt became naseated, pale, diaphoretic, dizzy and had difficulty breathing. BP dropped to 90/50 and pulse into the 50s. Sx lasted ~45 minutes with return to baseline. Vax record states pt passed out.
GARDASIL is the only cervical cancer vaccine that helps protect against 4 types of human papillomavirus (HPV): 2 types that cause 70% of cervical cancer cases, and 2 more types that cause 90% of genital warts cases. GARDASIL is for girls and young women ages 9 to 26.
GARDASIL may not fully protect everyone, and does not prevent all types of cervical cancer, so its important to continue routine cervical cancer screenings. GARDASIL does not treat cervical cancer or genital warts. GARDASIL will not protect against diseases caused by other HPV types or against diseases not caused by HPV. GARDASIL is given as 3 injections over 6 months.
One of the greatest boons in our time is vaccines. Trial lawyers are astroturfing to create a new market for their services. Every drug has side effects. Trial lawyers focus on the small percentage that get them, prey on their emotions, make $millions, and destroy medicines that save may, many lives. Erin Brockovich is a trial lawyer.
Soeone is out to kill our daughters and prevent our country from future procreation!!!
So, Nanny Perry issued a mandate to impose upon parents. Fortunately, public outcry forced him to withdraw the mandate.
Without getting into the extreme cases of parental neglect and such, I hope that parents can aways keep their sacred duty and responsibility to care for their children as they see fit - children are NOT products of the State (well, I know that depends on who you ask...).
The judgment of someone like Perry worries me, if he's willing to step into the parent-child bond like that, dispensing pharmaceuticals (vaccine) like that. One would think that someone would think twice before jumping on the mandate bandwagon for any medicine or treatment. I don't believe Perry is a MD.
Glad there were some awake Texans.
“There seems to be more leg blood clots than expected” The clotting is caused by the body devoloping antibodies to the virus already nascent in the body(hence the warning about giving the drug with HPV already present) The antibobodies clump and stick onto the millions of virus in the body causing danger of clotting, especially when the vaccine is given...the body attacks the vaccine !
She has worked as a paralegal. She is not a lawyer.
Yet, when women's bodies are telling them that SOMETHING'S WRONG - like these "mere" anecdotal stories about adverse reactions from Gardasil -- they are written off as "well, it could've been one of a 100 things" or "it's just her imagination [that she's having seizures, fatigue, etc.]".
Just look at chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia (sp?), and a whole host of other ailments -- for YEARS, women would be accused of making this up for attention, by the medical profession (not to smear all doctors - it's still a noble profession in my mind for the most part).
No one would argue that medical schools operate from a pharmaceutical-based view, with little or no nutritional info. Many ailments are nutrional issues.
But, look at the state of "science" now -- e.g., Global Warming fraud. The vicious quelling of dissent among the scientific ranks if someone tried to point out facts outside the "dogma." It took a scandal of the magnitude of hacked emails to get the truth out, and the truth has still not affected our EPA and White House.
It seems to me that, if something makes it easier for men to sexually exploit women (abortion, Gardasil vaccine), it's pushed from all levels. If women suffer from said means (post-abortion stress and regret, or vaccine side-effects), it's their imagination.
I hope this is never forced upon people (aren't they discussing a vaccine for Gardasil for boys?), as if the State owned your body. That would make us slaves, not citizens.
I opt out of vaccines for my dogs! I only give them rabies because the vet can’t(won’t) treat them without it.
It is not worth ONE child’s life to prevent the possible spread of an STD/Virus.
Since I’ve added B-12 and Iron supplements to my daily routine of a multi-vitamin, I no longer feel tired all the time and I have color back in my skin tone. I’ve always been borderline anemic, so these new vitamins have been a huge help. Will be adding some Vitamin D soon.
Is it a coincidence that this comes out nine days before the primary election in Texas?????????
Rick Perry tried to mandate this vaccine after getting a pharma industry political gift laundered through a group called “Women In Politics.”
Perry backed off from the plan when the people got angry, but it shows how much of an insider politician he is.
But given the other choices on March 2nd, I would vote for him any way in the GOP Primary.
Oh I vaccinate my dogs. Its more so because other people don’t take care of their dogs.
Both of my daughters have had this vaccine, both are fine. I do not think it should be mandated, this is not a disease that is directly related to deaths, just suspected. However I don’t think that the kids who have a bad reaction to the polio vaccine should make it where the other kids don’t get it.
(This is only an opinion of the poster and is not intended to imply anything litigable under the laws of the United States or any state therein. “Scumbag” has been held to not have any slanderous meaning. Liberal Scumbag (see scumbag)also. Do NOT use as a step. Coffee may be hot! John Edwards causes cerebral palsy.)
Thank you for that article! My mother died from cervical cancer, she also had HPV. She wasn’t a floozy, but my dad wasn’t always faithful...
Anyway, my girls got it (the vaccine) and I think it’s remarkable that they are discovering a link between a VIRUS and CANCER! If they can continue this path, it may help with the development of cancer! I don’t understand why people aren’t excited about that.
I mean cancer TREATMENT. Sorry.
The benefit of Gardasil is being debated for populations that are well screened by pap smears; thus in the US the death rate for cervical cancer is low (3/100,000 women) which is similar to the rate of serious side effects events reported for Gardasil (3.4/100,000 doses distributed). Critics suggest that Gardasil should be used primarily in populations at high risk for cervical cancerIf true, with numbers like that, particularly if they carry over to other forms of cancer, I see no reason the vaccine should be mandatory.
Just like this vaccine, if your dog has an underlying condition that you don’t know about, or their immune system is a little shaky when they get a vaccine,or they get it while getting surgery, it can make them very sick and cause major organ damage-and it isn’t immediate either.
I’ve done a lot of reading up on it after I had 2 dogs diagnosed with chronic kidney failure and the only thing they had in common was vaccines....my best friend just died this past Friday from it; he was the best dog I have ever had.
You don’t remember correctly. The Feds had already put the vaccine on the approved list for the Vaccines for Children program, which pays for vaccines through the age of 18, so that the only girls who would not receive the vaccine for free would be the ones whose insurance paid for mandated vaccines, but not optional vaccines. (The vaccine is now available for males 9 and up, also.)
You also don’t remember that the same Executive Order directed the DSHS to make it easier for parents to opt out.
The DSHS has been given the authority by the Legislature to mandate vaccines, without any oversight by anyone else, except the Governor who appoints the Secretary. The Legislature meets for 4 months every 2 years, and could change that law or retroactively change a rule of the DSHS.
It is not mandated in Texas. I chose not to give my daughters the shot.
Thanks mysterio! And you are right. It’s usually a long and ugly battle because it just spreads so rapidly. My mom had her cervix and uterus out, then moved into the ovaries. (however my fury at the insurance company refusing to pay for her ovary removal at the time of her partial hysterectomy will be left for another day) Although I’m thankful for the 10 years in between the two surgeries. But once it hits the ovaries, it’s a nasty cancer and almost always terminal.
I will also be glad when people stop looking at this as an “STD”. My 8 year old gets fever blisters. She could have gotten it from a kid at school that she drank after, or ate something they had eaten off of. It’s technically herpes, that doesn’t make it an STD. While HPV can be transmitted sexually, it’s also pretty common. If there was an AIDS vaccine, I would encourage my kids to get it. Not because I expected them to sleep around, but I don’t trust that who they choose as a mate will always be faithful.
It’s like the other tons of vaccines that our kids get. If everyone had this attitude about polio, how many people would still be paralyzed? Yes, there are risks, but the benefits seem to outweigh the benefits.
That being said, I do NOT support a mandate of this vaccine. It should be up to the parents as this is not a communicable disease like other vaccines that are required for school. It’s one thing to say “You must have this vaccine to mingle amongst this large group of people because it’s contagious without intimate contact.” It’s another to mandate it for “your own good.” That’s where I draw the line.
As one whose wife died from cervical cancer at just 41 years of age, leaving me with three small children, I wholeheartedly SUPPORT any vaccine that will lower the incidence of this horrible cancer by 70%. I do not wish on anyone the pain my wife and her family went through.
As with ANY vaccine or medication, there will always be someone who gets an adverse reaction. But this must be placed in perspective. The total quantity of those harms is much LESS than those not getting the vaccine.
Sure government heavyhandedness is oppressive but I guarantee REGRET would be even more painful if your daughter gets cervical cancer just because you were afraid the risks of the vaccine, despite a thousand or million times less than the disease, would harm her. Sure it is entirely possible your daughter may be one of the rare cases who is harmed by the vaccine, but the odds are significant against it.
I spoke to my late wife’s oncologist shortly after Gardasil came out and he told me boys should also get the vaccine since it will also drastically lessen the likelihood of penile, anal, and other cancers. They were apparently still undergoing long-term trials and weren’t ready to start mass inoculations.
One thing’s for sure, if and when ANY vaccine is developed that will prevent my children from getting cancer or heart disease or malaria or any other fatal disease that I will be among the first to obtain them. I’ve seen too much pain and suffering in my life to do otherwise.
The FDA doesn’t care as long as it undermines our society.
Nothing safe about Norplant of the morning after pill either, but they bastardized the science and approved it anyway.
Why do you opt out of the parvo vaccine? I had two puppies that died from that horrid virus (we vaccinated them, but they caught it from a stray in the yard before the vaccine took effect) and I can’t imagine anyone not wanting that protection!
Do you have a reference? 90% of the Deep venous thrombosis cases have known risk factors. The jury is still out on whether there’s a true association, much less causation.
There’s no such warning about prior infection - only about allergy to yeast and/or to prior vaccinations for HPV.
The viruses don’t circulate in the blood the way you describe.
The real benefit will come from fewer repeat pap smears and fewer treatments with laser or freezing to remove pre-cancerous changes. We’ll see less genital warts and the cases of transmission at birth to the baby ought to go near zero.
Where’s the manufacturer’s information about not giving the vaccine to people with one of the viruses? It’s not on the Prescriber’s information or the information for patients.
I’m sorry about your wife Edward, and it seems that those of us who have watched loved ones die from this dreaded disease aren’t quite sure what to make of those who flippantly disregard the benefits of preventing someone from going through it.
I recently lost an 18 year old cat whom I never vaccinated since she was 8 years old. We never had trouble with vets refusing to see her; we would explain that she'd had a pretty severe immune disease (cost us thousands to treat her!) and we didn't want to risk activating her immune system with vaccines. When I moved from MD to TX, she came in the car with me while our other, vaccinated cats, flew.
If there isn't a medical reason to withhold vaccines, I don't know why someone wouldn't want to protect their pets.
My hobby is tilting at windmills. Hysteria just makes me post more.
I am so sorry you lost your beloved pet. :( My previous dog passed away from Immune Mediated Hemolytic Anemia. Though I now have two more dogs of the same breed, she was the best dog I’ve ever had and is greatly missed.
One adverse reaction doesn’t make a vaccine or drug dangerous. What other evidence do you have?
Hey, even chicken pox!! I laughed at that vaccine when it came out. Seriously, when I was a kid, it was like “WOOHOOOO I got the chicken pox! No school for 2 weeks!!!” and then they made it a mandatory vaccine for kids in our county. Well... my middle daughter got the vaccine and then got the chicken pox a few years later. It happens apparently, some do still catch it. However even WITH the vaccine she had nearly 100 pox, one under her eyelid!! Her pediatrician said “THIS is what the vaccine is for. Your daughter would be near death without the vaccine because if she has this bad with it, imagine without it.” And sure enough, instead of a two week outbreak, it was only a week with just 2 days of fever. I was grateful she had the vax at that point.
