Since we were so busy working when we were in Florida there was no time to bake so I made the Almond Bark Cookies. The kids loved them and had a contest to come up with new recipes. We made them with pecans, raisins with peanuts, rice krispies, and mini marshmallows. I really liked the Rice Krispies.

If anyone saw the billboard that they showed on Fox this morning, we saw it on our way home on I-75 in Northern Florida. Brought a real smile to our faces :)
Thanks for pointing that out lysie, apparently I was overcome by a wave of revulsion that prevented me from reading the entire screen.
Good morning everybody. Beautiful day shaping up here.
What did the billboard say?
:-)
Excellent! If you don't mind, I would like to post this on my Facebook profile. Lots of my friends, very good Americans, are hurting because of the economy.
I wish it was mine.
I must be nuts.:(
good morning. had my coffee and feeling better.
Hope you are as well.
Nuts, maybe....talented, yes!:-))
Thanks! I heard Morris talking about this on Hannity’s show last Fri, it was?
Rice Krispies in the almond bark sounds very yummy! Thanks for sharing that.
Know it’s good to be home...........Hope you have some very quiet, restful days ahead.
;o)
The Dems will be punished; the Republicans will take over the committee chairmanships and be content, as they often are, to be in office rather than in power; and after a brief time out the Democrats will return to find their new statist behemoth still in place. From their point of view, it makes perfect sense
HI! It another cool day down here in way south Ms (go any further south would be talking ‘mexican’ talk, other words, right on the Gulf of Mexico).
Gotta tell you, this site here keeps me in a ‘sound mind’, get on here and see what is happening in their neck of the words.

Afernoon’ lady, I have been running too, of to WalMat to do some ‘stocking my shack in the back’ bur darn it, they completely changed the inside of the store all up, can’t find anything, got my grits thou, two boxes, and the kind folks talked me into using instant grits, oh what all I have been missing over these years going from sctatch. Boil gther water, pour over the grits, get with the program.
I freeped mail you something yesterday about Allie and her trip to Brazil. SIL goiing back this summer to help buils a church in the middle of the jungle, Course I instructed him on what to do as soon they get in a jungle, give the ole Tarzen cry and beat your chest. See, us father in laws, always have instructive words of wisdom for SIL’s.
Raining here today, a little ‘nippy too, makes it a good day to read another book and I am reading ‘novel’ about Christ, it fills in things that Jesus COULD be talking about
btween what id in the Bible. It is real good as it is the ‘words and actions He could have used that is not in the Bible. VERY good read.
Caleb escaped from me while we were in the car when Tracy went into Sam’s, thankfully he ran into the store and I was able to catch up with him. Needless to say I will not be watching him when she goes into stores again.
