Happy Monday To Amy's Place

A Dawning by WayzataJOHNN

Soft the pearl and rose of coming dawn
and I pause to greet it with open heart
For each is now of me such a vital part
and I welcome the moment before its gone

A beginning of day and life renewed for me
a place, a moment so set in colored relief
Set by a Master’s hand to augment my belief
illuminating the way for a soul to truly see

Texting God
[We] do not cease to pray for you. —Colossians 1:9
An article in The Washington Post told about a 15-year-old girl who sent and received 6,473 cell phone text messages in a single month. She says about her constant communication with friends, “I would die without it.” And she is not alone. Researchers say that US teens with cell phones average more than 2,200 text messages a month.

To me, this ongoing digital conversation offers a remarkable illustration of what prayer could and should be like for every follower of Christ. Paul seemed to be constantly in an attitude of prayer for others: “[We] do not cease to pray for you” (Col. 1:9). “Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit” (Eph. 6:18). “Pray without ceasing” (1 Thess. 5:17). But how can we possibly do that?

Missionary Frank Laubach described his habit of “shooting” prayers at people as he encountered them during the course of each day. In a sense, he was “texting” God on their behalf, staying in constant communication with the Father. Laubach believed that prayer is the mightiest force in the world, and said: “My part is to live in this hour in continuous inner conversation with God and in perfect responsiveness to His will.”

Pray without ceasing. Perhaps what Paul urged us to do can be done.

Give me a spirit of prayer, dear Lord,
That I may commune with Thee
As I travel along life’s rugged road,
In Thy company always to be. —Dawe

Prayer should become as natural as breathing.

“Marriage God’s way brings a man and a woman together to honor Him and help society. Celebrate marriage for the ways it brings us together in God’s name.”

A family with a father and mother is basic and vital to producing children, that are taught by the parents the ways and love of the LORD. We are today reaping the result of the perversion of God’s instructions. Getting ever farther and farther from His teaching.

Father God help us in our day, in Jesus name, amen.

For who goes up your winding stair can never come down again.

Very appropriate Ms Amy.

Fewz, as soon as I saw the web, I thought of a You Tube clip:
Nancy Pelosi and members of Congress singing “Itsy Bitsy Spider”.

Now, amnesty will be pushed - big time.....the ONLY way to save the dims in November.

Hey, Spooky!!! Where ya been?

I've been doing okay. Had some computer problems that I have almost resolved but it took some time. What have you been doing? How are the kids?

I'm hoping to get to Searchlight, NV for the Tea Party on the 27th. If we make it, we will spend an extra night in Vegas.

Wish you could have made it to DC last September. It was a fun trip. I often remember our trip to DC for the Inauguration. Marissa still remembers that trip.

Looking forward to seeing you here again. Don't be a stranger.

Have a Magnificient Monday.

Well, to make it quick...I was in two car wrecks in one year that ruined my back. So for 4 years I’ve pretty much been sick as a dog. Last summer I got off all my meds cold turkey and almost died........I’m finally feeling better. It’s been hard, but God is my healer.

I’m just raising my kids and homeschooling. Allyson, 18, my oldest started college this past year. She’s at a conservative, private Christian school. I’m still homeschooling Jonah, who is 14 now. Tim still has a job, praise God. We’re in Tampa, FL for a few more years, then we’re getting out of here and going home to Texas.

Love you and many blessings to you and all yours...

It is important the Holy Bible is one book.

It is filled with the teaching and instruction of God.

It is a progression of 4000 plus years; so that we know the will and intentions of God.

Our Lord Jesus observed all the feasts, the Sabbath, and said the Father is greater than I. He came to do His Father's will.

“John 4:34 (King James Version)

34.Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.
________________________________________________________John “10:29 (King James Version)

29.My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.”

Read the Bible. God will meet you there.

Good morning, Fewz.

I’m feeling like that fly this morning. Each day brings us more entangled in the socialist agenda.

I’m so disgusted with the demrat thugs and their bullying and bribery. I hope the American people do not foget. I’m going to send a small donation to Witch Pelosi’s opponent. I tried several times to get through to Jim Costa’s office. Whenever I was able to get through, I would get a message that his mailbox was full. He is a yellow-bellied blue dog with a white stripe.

I hope we start seeing law-suits soon.

This is perfect for today!! When I made this graphic, I had no particular analogy in mind.....but, in light of the House passage of the Obamacare bill last night - yes, I DO feel like a fly being lured into a parlor of horrors! "For who goes up your winding stair can never come down again."

No, no, no! I will not go.

Thanks, Amy.

Good morning, Yorkster. Are you feeling as down as I am this morning?

Start packing; I’m looking forward to you coming to California to run against our resident witch.

Hope we all get over this funky feeling soon.

It is an attitude of ones heart. Bless and curse not.
bless the day, bless our home, bless our food, bless our workplace and the people there, bless God for a warm shower in the morning and a warm bed at night, bless America, bless our church, staff, and members, bless our children before they go out the door every time, bless the lost, bless the lonely, bless the least, bless the last,

Be thankful for family, job, health, friends, food, home, eyes to see, ears to hear, hands to work and caress, feet to walk, having a good mind, health, strength, seeing, hearing, walking, ... You get the idea. We have become jaded, forgetful, anxious, distracted, rushed, frustrated, addicted to many addictions. None of which are good or healthy.

Praise the Lord O my soul, Praise God for His goodness, read His Word, Do what He asks of us. Love our neighbor, Do unto others as we would have them do unto us. Praise God for His Son Jesus Christ and His plan of salvation.

We are richly blessed already.
We are blessed to be a blessing.

Practice practice and soon the wily darts of satan, if you have put on the full armor of god will not hit you.

Father god help us in our day, in Jesus name.

Good morning, Lori.
Thank you for Today's Opener.

After watching the circus all evening, I had a tough time sleeping.
I'm worried about our country and what the future holds.
We have all been pulled into that web.
We must continue our fight.

It is really tough to be cheerful this morning. :)
