Pansies Make Me Smile

Thank you, Amy... Amy's was a good place to be while
our nation was under attack.
I had saved JOHNN's poem and was happy to find it
again this early morning!
I had a dental appointment this morning and drove the long way home to look at the pansies, daffodils, lake and flowering trees. So lovely!
It was 36 this morning..a sunny 65 now..

I’ve had ups and downs since seeing the doctor..actually got dressed without pain this morning..It did not last..My son thinks I need PT. I do, too.
Everything is aimed at getting better for the wedding..Incentive is a wonderul thing.
I am tired of staying in bed so much to ease the pain.
I want to go out to eat and sit comfortably instead of thinking a sadist designed the chairs.

Aw, thank you, Meg. Yes it is hard - but it is part of life. I always said I would never get another dog - because *that* day will come, and I don’t know how I will get through it again. I lost four so far. I am glad to have a ‘room’ to come to with such caring people!

Oh, Polly, thank you. I can always use a big hug! ;-)

When the vet told me what was going to happen soon, I looked him straight in the eye, and didn’t let him know how close to tears I was to hear the inevitable.

I intend to continue each day as I always have - like nothing is wrong - and just enjoy her sweet little kisses on my hand and her wagging tail when I wake up each morning.

I always think never again..and waited much too long once..but here I am with 3 of my daughter’s kitty rescues.
I believe I need a pet in my life...They do good things for me..and I do good things for them.

I came to the Finest originally because I saw a pet thread..I had lost my beloved Purty to cancer and I saw I was with fellow pet lovers.

I was too shy to share but they were a great comfort nevertheless.
