It means we lost this battle. But this is one battle. In a long war. And this is only on front. Now we take up the torch to the next battle on the next front. Take back your state houses. Fight in the courts. Monkey wrench every way you can. And still fight like hell to get a constitutionalist republican elected to the house in Nov. AND we have to let them know that we’ll fight even harder on the next piece of garbage they have in the pipeline.
No: they mean everything. Everything that you and others have done has energized Americans who want their country back. Apathy is no longer an option.
As for those who have deluded themselves into believing that the President's Executive Order will be ultimately enforceable or that the Senate will really take up the Reconciliation bill - they will be disabused before long.
There are thousands of Americans just like you in Washington this weekend, but they represent only the infancy of a movement. We want our nation and our Constitution restored and we mean to have it. Never forget: Liberty has few friends because it demands so much of those who love it. Freedom is easily lost because it required constant vigilance.
If they were asleep before, I believe that many true Americans are now wide awake.
Take it back, America. I still believe in you. The fight begins now.
I find it remarkable that in my very blue state there are 250+ comments on the local TV web site about this bill and nearly 100% of them are opposed! The article states that every member of Congress from this state is in favor of this monstrosity. The response is that they are out of touch, and no one wants the bill. I wonder how many people writing the negative comments voted for these Dems who are pro Pelosi! Unfortunately I don’t think the responses represent the public at large, at least not in this state where 0 got 60% of the vote.
Thank you so much for posting that AuntB!
Don’t give up. Freedom is always worth fighting for.
You are lucky then, this world is certainly not the one I came into, and there is no where to go, we were the best of the best.
Pearl harbor wasnt the end of the war...
9/11 wasnt the end of the war...
This vote wont be the end of the war...
And I’m sorry.....if the ever predictible libtards doing exactly what predictible libtards do is so traumatic...you simply havent been paying attention to how libtard operate...
WE NEVER HAD THE VOTES TO STOP IT....it was only the infighting in the DEms that could...
Stopping this might stop some bleeding in Nov fro the libs...
Just going right ahead with it is political suicide....
The cultists even had to carry the Holy gavel of health care up the steps in an avert act of symbolism....in the face if the protesters...
I’m not even shocked....stupak is a damn democrat...kaptur a dem...the rest ...ALL dems...when DONT they lie cheat and steal?
You ever consider this was all a dog and pony show?
Very rational, but illogical.
I am nearly 60 years old, and I have never seen damage reversed or a single entitlement program killed by the Republican party. When government becomes the largest employer.....When more than 50% of the voting public is a direct dependent of government....When all vestiges of the once great Republic have been replaced by pure Democracy....
It is what it is.
You cannot fix this now or ever. It will die one day very soon, with the country and that day is coming like a freight train. I hope I don't live to see it.
This is why we have a 2nd amendment
Let’s not get too down and out via emotions. Remember when Hussein got elected in Nov. 2008 we were suffering the same way. The Tea Party wasn’t even born then yet and look at the swing toward conservatism. We just need to sweep out the garbage infested Rats in DC.
Yep. I don’t own a gun - - yet.
It’s next on my list of things to do.
Was it over when the Germans’ bombed Pearl Harbor?
Our Representative Republic ends with a vote.
John Beluish, right? I’m smiling but this is bad, real bad.
You are most welcome. With the doom and gloom today, perhaps I should give it it’s own thread. :<)
Well I aint going anywhere anytime soon...And I’m not going to lay down and take it...
sheesh...what did you think they would do...
Why all the shock and Awwww...
All they will have done is piss off people worse....heading into a midterm...
Yes, I'm not that dumb...:)
WAIT till the people with Pre-existing conditions find out they can indeed be insured, BUT the price of insurance will break their bank accts.
And I will continue to fight.
Thanks for the reply.
Brings to mind a movie quote that I will take some liberty with.......
"We are in the business of (blanking) Marxists, and business is a boomin!"
