Well - I thought we could all use some good news.
Was up in the wee hours of the morning watching TCT.TV and this Sid Roth Program comes on (It's Supernatural).
The host interviewed a man named John Fenn.
John has done some unusual things.
You will need to watch the video at the link to learn more.
But the one thing that really made me smile was that John Fenn who was "caught up into heaven" like the Apostle Paul was:
2 Corinthians 12:2: 2I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago--whether in the body I do not know, or out of the body I do not know, (B)God knows--such a man was caught up to the (D)third heaven.
Thank you for that added information. Wow.
Yes indeed.
Amen and Hallelujah!
One day soon all creation will come into the glory of the sons and dauighters of God who are in the Kingdom now and who will be ruling and reigning over the Kingdom of God on this earth after Jesus comes to rule and to reign!
Definitely unusual programs. Did you watch the linked video given in the first post?
Green pastures,
Satan and his demons are fallen angels, as described most completely in the book of Job.
There is no offer of salvation for them. No one atoned for them. They are damned for all time.
The angels that did not fall, of course, they are still in heaven.
Red in Blue PA,
You do not want to go to hell. Your pet will not be there, for one thing. If you don’t want to go to heaven because your pet is not there, why would you want to go to hell if he isn’t there either?
Think it through.
LOL!!! -- Given your handle, I assume you will forgive me for my folly! I had better stick to the simpler threads -- those about world peace and the Israel -- Palestinian conflict!
2 Tim 1:12 for us both.
Sorry, there won’t be any cats in heaven. Dogs, yes. But no cats. That’s why they call it ‘heaven’?
True enough, but it is as much about what I need as it is about what I must extend. Although I’m concerned about such an absurdly low number as 490 on the “needs” side...
And that which thou sowest, thou sowest not that body that shall be, but bare grain, it may chance of wheat, or of some other grain:
But God giveth it a body as it hath pleased him, and to every seed his own body.
All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds.
There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another.
There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differeth from another star in glory.
So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:
It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:
It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.
OK, you are forgiven of whatever is bothering your heart at this time. ..... Only 489 to go!
All righty then - we need to apply some hard core logic here. It seems that some people will just NOT be happy in heaven w/out their pets. They have concluded that their pets will be there to ensure their happiness
Well I'm here to tell you that it will NOT be heaven for me unless there is Chinese food at those banquets. If cats are allowed in it seems like a clear cut win-win to me.
I’m thinkin’ post 113 is gonna knock me well into the 300’s
Now that you mention it, I am a bit hungry. I could go for a plate of cat hips & lo mein right now.
A person with a plan that follows the plan and takes advantage of every opportunity that comes along! Dang, you are good!
I think the Lord would call him a "well done." :-)
Mmmmmm:
Moo Goo Gai Cat,
Kung Po Kitty,
Fluffy with Szechaun Sauce,
General Meow’s “Chicken”...
Dang, I’m getting hungry!
Nah, that was Joan of Arc...
If pets are with their masters in Heaven, what becomes of the pet that had more than one family during its life? Let’s say Fido was raised by a loving family but they moved away and the owners couldn’t take him with them so they gave him away to another family that loved the dog just as much and then that family was killed in a tragic accident so the dog was adopted by still another family that loved the dog until it passed away.
If all the families were Christians and the dog was there in Heaven, which one would get to keep the dog??
What if the dog was treated better by a bunch of heathens than it was by any of the Christian owners? Who tells the dog “sorry, you don’t get to live with your favorite family?”
See how absurd this all gets?
I don’t doubt that if God wants animals to be in Heaven, he’ll provide them. And if they are given to us, we will love them and treat them well. But we’re going to have to accept that some things we loved on earth won’t be there - including spouses or family members.
And you know what? We won’t care because the treasures we will have there will make us quickly forget any treasures we had to leave behind. That’s why I think it’s a bit silly to debate what we will be able to take with us in the next life. We should put no idols before God and if you love something on Earth more than you love God, you should re-examine your priorities.
And you would do well to listen to Quix carefully, he has a great deal of solid, biblical information and sound doctrine to offer. And, you should ping him as a courtesy when you reference him in a post.
And Quix is right...it is just a wafer. The sacrifice is finished and Jesus is risen! Those are His words, my FRiend. We proclaim Him alive from the dead, never to suffer again, the Conqueror over death, the Giver of Life, the Rescuer of our souls. Forget the trinkets, forget the repetitious chanting, forget the absolution by men, forget all of the ceremonial layering Rome slathers on over this one truth...He is alive to save completely those whom He has foreknown and predestined to become conformed to His image.
Amen to every word.
THANKS TONS FOR YOUR KIND WORDS.
LUB
However, it would not surprise me that the God who can reaise up children of Abraham from rocks could recreate any pet HE CHOSE to for the pleasure of His kids in Heaven.
I would suspect, however, that our priorities would be different, there.
That is a very good, Scriptural answer.
Thanks.
This comports with all the spiritual reading I’ve been doing since my husband passed away in October.
Thanks for the ping!
Thought you’d find this thread interesting.
John is speaking in Matthew 3. The punch-line belongs to him. 8~)
THANKS TONS FOR YOUR KIND REPLY.
You are a treasure and encouragement in a dry land.

Oh my!!! Thank you so much for that link!!!
HOpe everybody reads it - All Dogs Go to Heaven!
How marvelous!!!
http://www.dneoca.org/articles/dogs.html
God bless!!!
You are so welcome!
Blessings to you this Holy Week!
Oh - it does? That’s wonderful to hear.
I didn’t know your husband went to haaven last October.
My mother died 32 years ago and my 88 year old Dad just told my sister recently that he still has dreams about her and recently after one of these dreams, that when he woke up, he could feel her presence there with him in that bedroom.
He had never said anything like that to any of us four children since her death.
Perhaps God is giving us all a little glimpse of heaven - because His return from there is so near.
You are very welcome! Have a glorious Holy Week!
Good morning. God bless you!
Well - LOL - don’t know how all that will work out.
Agree we are to have nothing before our God - Father, Son, and Holy Spirit! He is our all in all.
But isn’t it just like Jesus Christ to want to give gracious gifts to His beloveds - to you to me to all who belong to Him. The Bible says God is the author of every good and perfect gift. Our beloved animals are his gifts to us. So doesn’t it make sense and fit right in with His grace, mercy, love, and kindness towards us to think He will make provision for those animals who have captured our hearts while here on this earth!
Hope you ave a precious Holy Week.
ROFL! Yes - for sure - Paul is a “well-done” - amen! LOL.
OH - LOL - look out!
Thanks for those comments.
“The angels that did not fall, of course, they are still in heaven.”
Well, yes, they reside in heaven. But the angels are all around us here on earth now and of course will be in heaven with us for all eternity.
And THAT is another subject worthy of another thread!
OH my - you’re right - so much that’s soooo good right there! Thanks!
Whew!!!! 109 says it! My Pastor would say, “Amen!”
OH my - I had forgotten that Twilight Zone episode.....
Thanks for the reminder....very good!
(amen to what Persevero said!)
Hell is so real and so terrible - I cannot want it for anyone - including for those that I have thought were the most despicable human beings ever to live.
Unquenchable fire, total unending “outer” darkness, absence of God’s presence and love, being with satan and his demons.
Anyone who reads this and who does not already belong to Jesus Christ, Please, run to Him - NOW. He loves each of us so very much and does not wish for any to perish or be lost.
In fact Jesus is right now bringing in a huge harvest of souls just prior to His return for His Bride, the Church, His beloveds!
He is pulling out all the stops to reach every person on this earth in order to bring in as many as possible so they will be called up to meet Him in the Air in the next great event in the World’s history (HIS STORY) - called the Rapture of the church. (of all who belong to Him).
He does not want anybody to go through the Great Tribulation time that is about to come upon the earth if at all possible for us/you to escape this coming time of God’s Wrath.
It will be such a horrfic time that Jesus said unless He returns (at the end of this time) to cut it short, not a single human being would survive that soon to begin time called the “time of Jacob’s trouble” and long foretold throughout scripture - both hold and new Testaments.
Jesus came to save us - from both hell and, in this generation, from the Great and Awful Tribulation time because both have to do with the righteous judgment of God against the evil that is in this world and must be judged because God is Holy and because His word is totally true.
And Jesus of course came to save us FOR life in heaven, which starts here and now and goes on for all eternity with Him, with all who belong to Him, and, yes, apparently with all the beloved plants and animals as He sees fit to have there with us!
If you have never called upon that matchless name, Jesus, at whose Name every knee on earth, above the earth, under the earth must bow, please do so NOW while you still have time to do so.
For the time is coming, is almost here, when Jesus will return for His beloveds. If you have not turned to Him for salvation before He comes, you will be left here to go through the Great Tribulation which, thank God, is limited to only seven years.
But at that time you will have two choices - if you are still here:
Either take the mark of the Beast, the antichrist, who is soon to be revealed - and go to hell for all eternity....
Or to refuse the mark of the best and be killed, probably beheaded, but then you will go to be with Jesus immediately after you are martyred for your faith in Jesus.
(Millions will turn to Jesus during the Tribulation - that is certain.)
But wouldn’t you like to just avoid all that terrible trial and just belong to Him NOW so you will be safe in Him, in His “ark” that He will provide to protect all who belong to Him just as he provided the Ark of Noah’s day to preserve just that one family AND THE ANIMALS WITH THEM - while every other living creature WAS DESTROYED!
Yhere you all go - God preserved the animals in Noah’s Ark in that first deliverance from destruction - perhaps this means that our beloved animals will also TAKE PART IN THE RAPTURE WHICH IS ABOUT TO HAPPEN AS GOD’S “ARK” OF SAFETY FOR THIS COMING TIME OF DESTRUCTION ON THIS EARTH!!!
Anyway, may whosoever reads this thread come to the Lord Jesus, friend of sinners, Faithful Deliverer, Savior, Redeemer, Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world - and all our sin (we are in the very week in which we remember His first coming to do just this) - soon coming King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
Oh how He loves each of us!!!
Turn to, run to Jesus, to be saved - NOW - TODAY - and then look up for our redemption draws near!
I have heard many such wonderful stories, FRiends. They are often true. FRegards ....
Interesting thread.
I believe you are correct in your belief that our pets do to to heaven, here’s why.
Anyone who has had a pet, knows that they have a unique personality, a spirit, an intelligence. They are not generic bacteria - each pet has a certain bit of soul to it.
Now, my belief is that a soul, a spirit cannot be destroyed, execpt by God ... and even that is debatable, as instead of destroying the Fallen, he banished them to outer darkness instead of destroying them.
So, if they cannot be destroyed; and they have not the capability of knowingly committing evil (knowing goodness, but consciously choosing evil) they cannot be banished to outer darkness. A Just God cannot punish those who do not know, or understand righteousness.
So, in short .... Yes, all Dogs do go to Heaven. And as Mark Twain alluded to, I hope I can be as decent, as gentlemanly, as loyal, loving and forgiving as my dog. My dog set a pretty high standard.
What a wonderful thought. Nothing to fear.
Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing." -- 2 Timothy 4:7-8" I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:
Right. No argument here.
But those angels that did not fall, and which are in heaven, did not require salvation through the blood of Christ in order to be in heaven.
Only people require salvation through Christ’s atoning work on the cross.
Christ did not die for the angels. Christ did not die for animals. But that doesn’t preclude them from being in heaven.
THX THX
I think I sent you an email. May have been to an old addy.
AMEN! AMEN! AMEN!
