Time to lay off Mitt bashing? Mitt, Bachmann and Palin are the only ones speaking up?
(vanity)

Truth in advertising:

I've been an off and on, Mitt Romney supporter.

By and large, off. But I'm beginning to wonder if maybe Mitt deserves a second look.

Watching Gingrich cuddle with Nancy Pelosi on that couch, and now Jindal huddle in silence after his aide was attacked.

What the GOP is lacking isn't so much principles or an agenda.

What the GOP lacks is anyone willing to stand up for anything.

Palin does, spectacularly.

In Massachusetts last go around, Brown did.

Bachmann sure does.

In Florida, Rubio takes no quarter. And it might be noted, Rubio is making noises to support Romney.

Romney's not perfect, but at least he stands up and pushes back.

More than perhaps anything, that is what the GOP needs most.

Maybe it's time to cut Romney some slack, and support him when he speaks up. Which he does more than some others in the GOP "leadership".

Just a thought.

Between MittCare and Myth staying in background and refusing to speak out on the issues ala Palin & Bachman, we don’t need another wimpy RINO like Myth.

Sorry, I just cannot forgive MittCare, which laid the groundwork for Obamacare.

He certainly was conservative enough when it was Mitt V McCain in 2008. Mitt's son was on Sean Hannity almost everyday until Mitt dropped out.

Im not a Romney supporter, and have never been....

BUT

If we bash each other like in the 2008 Primaries, then we will end up pointing fingers at each other again, and they will get reelected. It’s ours to lose.

We must unify with each other and get behind someone. Romney is far from the top of my list, but I would take him over what we currently have.

The ball is really in our court.

"But I'm beginning to wonder if maybe Mitt deserves a second look."

He speaks up because hes planning his 2012 run. We have enacted Romneycare nationwide. How can he be the candidate to run against mandated health insurance? He started it!

Oh, definitely! I was just saying the other day that we needed more well-founded accusations of hypocrisy from the other side by having more socialists on our side of the aisle 'speak up' for us. We truly haven't had enough of those up until now.

Some serious questions:

1: What attracted you to Romney in the first place?

2: How do you feel when Romney “pushes back” but he said a 180 degree opposite opinion in the past?

3: How can Romney credibly “push back” when Obama’s signature domestice policy achievement uses Romneycare as a template?

Palin and Bachman speak up on the basis of their principles. Myth speaks up because he wants the nomination and 0bama is unpopular.

absolutely NOT.

In fact, I don’t think we should give ANY of the has-beens from last election go round a second look. Bachmann, yes...the rest NO. We need a fresh start, with non-progressive Rhino candidates, like the Bachmann’s and DeMint’s out there, and in order to end up with conservative choices, what we need to do is find a way to get the dang GOP OUT OF THE WAY.

Mitt endorsed McCain. Bachmann declined to get involved in the AZ primary.

His business background. SLC Olympics.

And the fact he’s been on the receiving end of quite the Alinsky treatment from the left, himself.

Mitt’s a lot of things, but he does have spunk. He had a pretty good rant last week on one of the talk shows.

We need a bit more of that. If that’s what Mitt’s approach is gonna be, I’ll support him.

Now if we could get Duncan Hunter back into the mix. :)

(either one of them)

And get the “mittens” to stop bashing Governor Palin, most of all.

if you love McCain and Mitt so much, you need to form a RINO website of your own.

do not confuse Bachman and Palin with Romney, or McCain.

Romney and McCain and Chameleon Newt are just jumping on a bandwagon they see as maybe feathering their nests and could really care less how they accomplish their power grab as long as they get their power grab.

I agree.

I'll say this: John McCain was obviously a CFR setup for Barack Obama in 2008; but Mitt Romney, out of sheer mental superiority, would have torn a new you-know-what in BO in national debates. In no way did "they" want that.

We ARE being manipulated.

Mitt is a weak ass politician trying to use us and elevate his position for history.

He has no vision for America and never has.

He had one terrific speech and that was his concession speech.

Really? You have an opportunity to state your position, claim a vision and you give one fantastic speech?

Take a hike chump(Mitt). You had your chance to state your case and you glad handed your competitors, finding yourself in par agreement with the positions of everyone on the dias.

That is not a man of vision, conviction of purpose and passion.

You are just another politician jockying for historical relevance.
