Somebody has to say it:
“Maybe the dingo took the baby.”

The world’s oldest breed? Is that measured in dog years?

A recent study has revealed that Dingo is the world's oldest breed of dog. This dog according to experts is basically a cross between dogs and wolves.
Hmmmm, scratching head. What about the dogs that 'crossed" with wolves. Were they not a breed? If not, why not?

Maybe they meant oldest breed still in existance?
To: varon
Maybe dogs from the future went back in a time machine, bred with wolves, and came back.

One-upped the One-upper, eh?

The dingo is a curious lot. They are kept on display at Steve Irwin’s (Croc Hunter) Australia Zoo. Not even as big as a Golden Retriever. And not as easily spooked as wolves. They look like a domesticated house dog. But they are wily buggers in the wild.

Do they ever attack people?
To: EggsAckley
You sure did! LOL
I have a fall-back though. Remember the band from the 60s? The one with John, Paul, George and Dingo Starr?

I caught that as well. How can it be the worlds oldest dog if it took a dog crossed with a wolf to create it?

Neighbor unknowingly had one and all of the cats in the neighborhood disappeared over a 3 month span. Someone put 2 and 2 together with the dog and realized it was a dingo. It was taken away.

Priceless! He ate ALL the babies!

Yes, they attack people. Especially when they have lost fear of people. If I recall correctly, 6 rangers in Australia were killed by Dingos just recently. I could be wrong about this one incident but I know for a fact they have killed people and they absolutely rip through a herd of sheep.
