I just switched from Republican to Democrat (Viking Kitties secretly switched his meds)

I just switched from pro life to pro choice because I am a liberal who likes watching babies die and from pro gun to anti gun because I don't give a crap about my property or the safety of my family. I've always supported amnesty for illegal aliens. Because I profit off helping them steal identities..

For the last three posts, I’ve been trying hard to hold my amusement in.

Sadly (or not so) I recall what it was like to be 15, 16 and every awkwardness in between!

I haven’t been online because my computer has decided its Time Has Come. Perhaps I should shut it down in an hour or so, just to re-boot and let it simmer all night.

I hate to do that, but for the life of me, I can’t think of any other way to deal with the slow loading. Especially since I’m not married to an IT Guru. :o[

Slow loading?

Or maybe I shouldn't ask. Brain is still not ticking like it should; I woke up very tired and three 1-1/2 to 2-hour teleconferences have not helped.

You must be wired wrong. Brains don't tick, they percolate. That's why you need coffee.

Trying to get two papers on the same topic out. The non-technical one destined for a magazine was almost done and I was able to get that out, but I just can’t get the technical one for our sales folks moving again. If we didn’t have an event at church in a couple of hours I would just pack it in and go home.

Bob: Love of my Other Life, because of a series of cutbacks in my life and style, I cannot afford “high-speed internet” no matter how much Cox coaxes me. They penalize me $10 for every reduction in speed, which means that I never shoulda sucked up to them in the first place.

But thanks. Some day, I’ll rise above their avariciousness, and found my own .com....

I found something similar to my answer, after I had derived it, on Cecil Adam’s “Straight Dope” page.

But there, they referred to quills rather than plumes. I like to think that the image of plumes of ink very aptly describes a raven.

Of course, writing desks with inkwells and quill pens are a bit out of fashion. On the other hand, plume is still the French word for pen.

Post 1093 was the first iteration of it anywhere. MTV or You-tube mavens, feel free to grab the idea and run with it.

Other images available for devastating criticism of the President's intransigent incompetence are picturing him as the little Dutch boy, who discovers a leak and using the power and sacrifice of his finger ... points blame at someone else.

And I also like the image of "that one" covered with oil, with the caption, "Thou annointest my head with oil. My cup runneth over."
