At the vending machine, Juliet said something about getting coffee sometime and that they could go dutch. It was the same thing she said to James when she died.
I’m guessing that this was one of the few times in which the sideways world interacted with the realtime world.
So when she had her flash or memory of dying in Sawyers arms, she actually asked to go out for coffee?
Also, did Ben have a complete flashback? Is that why he cried when Danielle said he was like a father to Alex?
Well, on the island, when Juliet was dying at the start of the Season 6, her last words to Sawyer were about getting coffee and going dutch, which at the time seemed just like delirious rambling due to her injuries. It turned out she said these things later in the sideways world, just as she and Sawyer started to remember each other.
To me, this means that Juliet already had one foot in the sideways world as she was speaking her dying words to Sawyer in the real world.

Ben’s full memory flashback must’ve happened offscreen. We only saw Ben’s partial memory flashback earlier when Desmond beat him up on hood of the car. I say it was partial because in Ben’s subsequent sideways scene with Locke, he didn’t remember Locke from the island yet.
I wish they would have showed it. He was a favorite character of mine.
