....and your background would be?

Not to argue the point but kidnapping children does no one a service, least of all the children.

Two local cases would defy your statement that these cases are more often performed by women, two different fathers, kidnapped their own children (in both cases, the children were spending their court-ordered time with their fathers), one case, the father drowned both children in a lake pond and refused to tell their whereabouts, the other stabbed both of his small sons in the chest rather "than see their mother raise them (he wanted full custody - certainly was "father of the year" to me!)

In both cases, the men admitted that they hated their former wives and would rather have seen their children dead than to "allow" their mothers another day with the children.

Of course, we also have mothers who commit such evil but the fact remains that the children lose no matter who removes the children from the other parent.

Oh, right.

It would have nothing to do with that judge granting mothers custody probably approximately 100% of the time - like most judges in this land.

The blind do not wish to see.

They got their children, so they don’t want to see the injustice that is done to men.

They don’t care that support orders can exceed a parents income.

They are blinded by greed and jealously.

TEND TO FAVOR ?!?

TEND TO FAVOR !!!

GOOD GRIEF. 90+% is not TENDING TO FAVOR.

THAT IS OUTRAGEOUS, UNCONSCIONABLE DISCRIMINATION.

Curious that women want ‘title 9’ only for sports and not for custody... NOT.

>>> Yes, I read it. He clearly broke the law. The mother didn’t.

You left out the final phrase.

The judges and courts also clearly broke the law.

Discrimination is prohibited in this country.

Yet the court systems and judges engage in discrimination against fathers with out consequence and abandon.

>>> Of course, we also have mothers who commit such evil

and yet you chose to only cite two cases of men who committed such acts.

you could have easily cited the much more widely case of the mother who drowned her kids in the car and blamed a black man.

or the mother who took her kids to the gas station to buy gas so she could set them on fire.

or even the millions of mothers who abuse the court system to kidnap the children from their fathers.

but no, you chose to go with the misandrist theme so popular today.

what a surprise.

but then I guess the massive, outrageous fact of children losing access to their fathers in every state of this nation
does not meet with your ‘the fact remains that the children lose no matter who removes the children from the other parent.’

right?

>>> ....and your background would be?

my background is not relevant, yours is.

>>> Not to argue the point but kidnapping children does
>>> no one a service, least of all the children.

Or really?

So are you a promoter of the new draconian ‘Uniform Child Abduction Prevention Act (UCAPA)’?

Where parents can be accused of being a potential abductor and taken out of their children’s lives for the horrible act of getting their school records?

or their medical records?

or their birth certificate? quel horrors.

or for selling a house?

or for selling a car?

or for buying travel tickets to the World Series?

or tickets to Disney land?

or for having a family member who lives in another state?

or for having property in another state?

or for having ‘cultural ties’ to another state?

or for having ‘emotional ties’ to another state?

so are you one of those kooks who believe that any one of these acts is grounds for kicking in a parents door on an ex-parte order and taking the kids into state custody?

I can see why you have bad experiences and I have a feeling they are with men and women equally. You must really be a miserable wretch. Life is short and being in the presence of people like you make some of us actually want it to be shorter.

“It is time to end the social experiment with divorce on demand.”

No Kidding!!!!

I don’t have a kidnapping tale, but I do have a divorce and it’s ‘unintended’ consequences, tale.

Mom and Dad were divorced when me and my brothers were young adults. They had scrimped and worked hard to put each other though college, and even left their home country to do it. We kids grew up in day care, back in the bad days when you got made fun of for that. Dad later felt he was too good for mom, really didn’t ‘love’ her anymore. He got his divorce, but he did it in a very mean spirited way. He got the house, and he got to NOT split his pension. My mom was devastated, and has remained unmarried ever since.

What were those consequences?
-One brother died at the age of 33.
-The other brother believed his crap about ‘love’ and remains unmarried.
-Me, well, I found Christ, have a good marriage, but my first born died at 8 days. I have one child, a daughter.

I came across a book that found a study that the children of divorce, even adults, will experience MORE ‘unrelated’ tragedies in their lives. A large percentage will have siblings hospitalized.

So, is all the tragedy I have experienced just because of my Dad’s divorce?

Only God knows.

No fault divorce CREATES more damage than people are willing to admit. Granted, it is women who have THOUGHT they have benefited from the favoritism of the courts. But it is the children who DO suffer from the selfishness of the ‘evil’ parent.

And NO court is going to able to KNOW most of the time, who the ‘evil’ parent is.

I despise the courts' massive corrupt treatment of husbands/fathers.

I would have loved to have had my own father's love and companionship but that was not to be as he died when I was 6, so I never got to be with him.

I know first-hand what growing up without a father and do not wish any child that prospect.

I feel the same about mothers, only and unless a parent (either father or mother) is proved a physical, emotional, though I realize that is subjective and many times misused, sexual abuser, the children need constant contact with them.

I'm sorry for you for whatever problems that you've had for I believe that your beligerent tone suggests it has been painful.

Lastly, and this will be my last response to your snarky statements, that there are parents who will injure and/or kill their children. Probably more mothers as they usually spend the bulk of the time with little ones, wind up killing their children, regardless of whether it's to prevent fathers from being with them.

Great.

But don’t worry about it. I am sure the courts will stop mistreating husbands and fathers on their own accord...

>>> Lastly, and this will be my last response to your snarky statements,

are sarcasm... gotta love it! :)

>>> that there are parents who will injure and/or kill their children.

and then there are Senators who are mothers...

... who try to pass legislation to benefit their own (bleep) personal life.

... who don’t care who they hurt in the process.

... who just two years ago was trying to pass legislation so that she would never have to go to court for any reason for the entire time she was in office (all she had to do was to score 1 out of session committee hearing every two months - and by being the head of a committee she had a meeting every month)

... who just this year was seeking to pass a law making it a felony to be a day late or a dollar short on child support.

... and who was asking for an uncapped penalty on the law so that she could hopefully secure a massive fine in the near future.

... never mind all the low and middle income fathers it would destroy.

... never mind all of that it would shut the state down in perpetual jury trials.

... can you say 100,000+ jury trials per month and 600,000 jurors? I knew you could. Isn’t English a wonderful language.

... who is seeking to overturn the custody laws of the state by hook or by crook.

... so much for the wonderful era of the new ‘corruption free’ politics in Louisiana.

You are right on so many issues.

it seems there are a few females on this thread that think they are psychic and know everything about fathers. Boy those dads are bad.and easy to do a deep analysis without a degree.

As one woman said on this thread if I also had to choose between living with my father or mother, I would have chosen dad without even having to think about it...a loving father vs. a mother that said to a 6 year old child, I love you, I just don't like you...(that was a great thing for a 6 year old to figure out) Or a mother that would make you a lunch and stand in the kitchen starring at me. By the time I was a teen, she left me alone, I had no affection for her and she showed no affection for me...Without my fathers unconditional love, I would not have survived to adulthood...Was she evil, no, just cold and unemotional. I was fortunate as my best girlfriends mother became my mother to me..she was warm and kind and always had a smile on her face when I visited. In fact this was the case with 2 of my girlfriends...I called them mom....a woman is a mom not because she gives birth. For some that seem to be what they think.

Not all mothers are physically abusive, but they can do damage anyway....I made the conscious decision when I married to model my father and not my mother....Its too bad, she missed out on a lot of stuff, but even all my fathers grandchildren worshiped him. And grandma was just grandma...it is sad on her part...I had seen her take a stick to my sister and beat her, when I as a child cried and tried to stop it I was told shut up or you'll get it too....those kinds of actions do not make for a good mother daughter relationship...

As an adult, I realized I didn't know how my mother was raised and maybe she did the best she could..her mother lived with us part time and was a sweet grandma...She taught me to embroider at a young age, dad taught me to play chess by the time I was 7 and took me fishing, the first time I went smelt dipping with him I was about 10...I think any child can survive if they have one parent that truly loves them....some of these women use their kids to get back at some perceived wrong the father has done....a child needs its father...for girls its important because dad is the first male to show her love....for a boy its what he models himself after....when boys become teens, without a man to help him become a man, he is kinda lost...

The majority of men in prison have been raised by single women. Big message there on the importance of the male in the family...When testosterone kicks in, a mother is not the best person to show him how to be a man, and in many cases, thats the end of a mothers influence on a boy...its shows in how they act out... Girls look for the love they missed from their father by being sexual at an early age.....Fathers are important even if some don't think so.... IMHO

For me there are 2 reasons for divorce, physical abuse and drug use....The females picks her mate and if he's not what she expected, tough luck if kids are involved...lady, you picked him...
