Can DUI affect next job application

Hello all, Friday I was "downsized" from my position in Sales for an automotive supplier. I have a few leads that I feel I am well qualified for. My concern is a ercent drinking and driving conviction. Was a first time offense but still an offense. It was pleaded down to a four point ticket. What is your opinion of having a drinking convicion on your record when applying for medium level Managment positions?

Thanks

Sounds like my last fem-nazi boss.

Personally, I would much rather work for a man. Mostly, they are more tolerable to work for and far less catty. At least in my experience.

She was a control freak and a closet man hater.

Female bosses I've worked for are pretty much as you described and complete scatter-brains in the work place.

Except for one. She was the best boss ever. I worked with the company for three years before she retired after almost 30 years there. I loved working and had tons of respect for her. She was an intelligent, funny and classy lady. Someone whom I truly admired.

The vast majority of female supers I have had are like yours but there have been two or three that were great.
