What American accent do you have?
Your Result: The Midland

"You have a Midland accent" is just another way of saying "you don't have an accent." You probably are from the Midland (Pennsylvania, southern Ohio, southern Indiana, southern Illinois, and Missouri) but then for all we know you could be from Florida or Charleston or one of those big southern cities like Atlanta or Dallas. You have a good voice for TV and radio.

The West

The Inland North

Boston

North Central

The Northeast

The South

Philadelphia

Peculiar. I do have an accent, it's just a little... unusual.

Only 9% Dixie. I am a MA boy my whole life, Sigh. But if the South rises again, I'll head down there and fight with y'all.

I did a little better, 25% Dixie (Never could get a taste for sweet tea) I have lived in MA and CT my whole life up to now but have a deep attraction to the Rebel States. It is comforting to know there are a few copperheads up here still

Do they still call pop/soda “Tonic” in MA or has that fallen into disuse?

The only people I still hear using ‘tonic’ occasionally are my Korean War buddies - and they are in their 70’s.
