They're back! (Beavis and Butt-head New Episodes)
New York Post ^ | July 15, 2010 | Michael Starr

'Beavis and Butt-head" -- the show that celebrated the slacker way of life and helped make MTV into a network that did more than just play music videos -- is coming back.

The move to resurrect the hugely popular 1990s animated anti-heroes has been rumored for several days. But yesterday, sources at MTV confirmed that a new batch of "Beavis and Butt-head" episodes are in the works.

The new series would keep Beavis and Butt-head in their perpetual high-school state, but it would be updated so that the pals -- who obsessively watch music videos on a battered TV set -- could lob their snarky comments at more current targets like Lady Gaga.

My favorite part about watching B&B was when they watched videos and made snarky comments....so it’s good to hear, that’s the main reason for this return.

YAY

I’m older now so another drop may not even be noticeable.

Judge is doing great. I can't image he gives a rat's patootie about MTV these days. He hit the motherlode with King of the Hill on Fox.

I like to watch Snookie sometimes. She’s the only character of theirs I’ve found remotely interesting in a long time,

Oh wonderful.

Another cartoon-show my husband will watch (he loved it, I found out too late), which is totally inappropriate for a 2yo but sucks him into it, anyway.

Oh, I’m being silly. Jersey Shore was on at a friend’s house, and I had heard all the hype, so I watched a little. Snookie IS sort of cute in a very VERY trashy New Jersey way, although she is actually from New York. Her real name is Nicole. She got famous by getting punched in a bar in one of the first episodes.

Looks like after a year we may finally find out when it's coming back ( we hope ). Predictions in the past year were always “this summer.” Tonight at the San Diego Comic Con;

Beavis & Butthead - 5:00-6:00 p.m ( Pacific ). - Mike Judge, creator of “Beavis & Butthead,” talks about the duo's return to MTV. He'll show footage from the upcoming series.”

I don't know. IMO Office Space may be one of the funniest movies of all time.
