There was no room at the inn. It was before a major Jewish holiday. You may not know this but it was prophecy that He would have a lowly birth and be rejected by Jews.
If I lived then, my Jewish teachings would discourage getting pregnant before marraige. In those days there was shame and restraint. When it did happen, people tried to marry quickly and not call attention to it. But, with people like you around, you'll CHEER on single moms. For you there is no shame.
