Yep. Propaganda is such that people don’t realize that the most effective civil rights heroes (other that Eleanor Roosevelt) were all republicans. They also forget the history of the Democrats as the pro-slavery party, and the Rupublicans’ origins as an anti-slavery faction of the Whigs. Black voters were almost 100% republican until Hoover pooched the response to the Mississippi floods.
The only thing Miss Jackson-Lee has is the color of her skin. Beyond that she is morally and spiritually bankrupt.
I think they know November will be brutal, and the people are being whipped up into a frenzy for “payback.”

Just to update her, North and South Vietnam are no longer in existence. It is Vietnam now.
She is the same person that asked, while visiting the space center looking at the MARS rover, if they thought we will ever get back to Mars.
She is a hoot. I drive through her district a few times a month and it is a total SH1Thole!
We have to educate(not via gubment school) people better. The people in her district will vote blindly for her even though her district is probably in the worst shape of any district in Texas.
