What’s so unusual about biting holes in his pants?

Too bad he wasn’t able to put a couple of 38 caliber holes in these mutts.

The dogs belong to Bernard Humphrey, a resident of an apartment complex on North Manassas who was arrested Sunday after police discovered he failed to update his address for the sex offender registry. A girlfriend was left to care for the dogs after Humphrey was taken into custody.

Trashy dogs and trashy people, hope the POS spends the rest of his days paying on the court settlement. But maybe the tax payer will get lucky and bubba his cell mate will settle the debt.

Given the circumstances, I'd have to be careful to not put a hole in my femoral artery. Might be preferable to a couple of these monsters working on you while you're on the ground.

Since pit bulls seem like such a sub species of dog, I think one should have the right to raise them for food.

Just a modest proposal.

I fear dogs like this every time I walk my dog.

I carry chemical mace + pepper spray, but I’m not sure if that would be enough.

Carry a gun and use it.

Oh, I’ve got 5, including two pistols. However, I don’t have a license to carry, and I am not sure that I would want to fire my gun in that situation with my dog being present and close as well as being surrounded by houses in the neighborhood.

Minus the whole not having a carry permit part, you’d rather die/be mauled than cause a commotion or scare your pup?

Sounds like you need a permit and some practice, also for close in a Taurus judge with birdshot would fix any attacker and be fairly safe at distance, for your neighbors or whatever

No, no, not at all. What I’m saying is that if a dog attacked us, I’m quite certain my shepard would get involved. At that point, I’d not want to fire for risk of hitting my best friend.

Beyond that, if I were to miss my target or a bullet ricochetted and struck an innocent person, that would be something I couldn’t live with.

+ 1 on that...

also. screaming the word “OFF!!!” really Loud works well, especially if you put your favorite expletive before it... and behind as well...

but, I digress...

a well placed bullet is most effective...

Definitely need a permit, though I’m a good shot, very well practiced in that regard. As far as the Taurus Judge goes, I have the Taurus Tracker .44 mag, and I would not want to fire that weapon in the neighborhood at all.

I’ve been looking at the S&W Thunder Rancher .45 acp revolver here lately, with that round being much slower than the .44 mag round.
