Nixon v. Kennedy and "Runaway Slave: Run From Tyranny To Liberty"

Today, on the Sean Hannity radio program, the magnificent C. L. Bryant spoke about his video Runaway Slave: Run From Tyranny to Liberty. He warns the nation to reject "certain economic slavery" and so "unlock the shackles of tyranny with the truths of liberty." How right he is! By subjugating millions of people to the government, the Democratic Party is going back to its roots as the party of slavery.

Rev. Bryant did make one point that bears correcting.

Rev. Bryant did make one point that bears correcting. He said that in 1962 President Kennedy ordered the release of Martin Luther King from jail. In fact, it was in 1960 that presidential candidate Kennedy called Coretta Scott King to express his concern that her husband had been arrested. Richard Nixon, whose civil rights record was actually much better than Kennedy's, asked Justice Department officials to intervene but did not go public about his efforts. Big mistake !! as millions of African-Americans switched their support to Kennedy just days before the presidential election.

I believe that JFK also made a call to the Democrat Sheriff asking him to release Dr. King in order to help the Democrat ticket.

We don’t get his third hour...have to make room for a*hole Mitch Albom. The second hour was the bomb, though. I thought David Horowitz. He’s absolutely one of my favorite conservatives.
