Does it matter? Does it create a tiny itch inside the brains of the left? Should voters be screened for political ideology before being allowed to vote on a f’n TV show?

I did not get a secret message telling me to vote for Bristol Palin, but I do every week as many times as I can. I do love to watch liberal heads explode!!

“I actually think it’s rather enlightening to follow the comments about Bristol at the more liberal entertainment board that I belong to, you’d think she was stomping on kittens or something, real anger and hatefulness coming from those who claim to be so open-minded and “caring”.

I think it’s why liberals always defend the Religion of Peace ... they identify heavily with saying one thing and doing the opposite. A guy who was in a pickup group of golfers I played with a while back made a pretty funny observation about liberals ... he said that if they designed golf, you would always get a mulligan if you REALLY needed one, but if you were a good player, you wouldn’t be allowed to take one. Not hilarious, but a good description of the mind set, I thought ...

DWTS has always been a popularity contest.

Not me. I hope the girls does well but I think “reality” shows overall are pretty boring.

And she does not get judged fairly. They’re underscoring her constantly.

I've been watching this program since it's conception, and must say that I think all in all the judges been fair with Bristol. Someone up thread mentioned about the fan bases of both Apollo and Helio supporting them---true, but they really were great dancers! I think Bristol has certainly improved, and if anything I think the judges are handling her with kid gloves. They constantly mention that she's not a professional entertainer and is doing well. She herself has mentioned she wanted to go home, that she was tired and she wanted to return to her family.

I have been supportive of Bristol. Her last dance was her best.

But the truth is she is not better than the others at dancing.

Because of her fears she concentrates on getting the fundamentals and is too dramaless. That’s her biggest problem. She doesn’t feel the music.

Her fans vote for her. If that was unfair, they would change the rules. I am sure they don’t because the votes are actually a poll as to who the commited viewers are.

No. They were passing out 10’s on Monday like it was a bodily function. Bristol did well with her Tango and they underscored her with 8’s.

And she ‘did not’ say that she wanted to go home. She cleared that up on her Facebook site.

A friend of mine goes to DWTS websites and says the comments posted about Bristol are absolutely malicious and hateful. Maybe there ARE some Palin supporters voting for Bristol who would not otherwise be voting for her. But there are probably just as many, if not more, people voting AGAINST her because of her mother. So it probably averages out.

Not really. I’ve never watched before and won’t watch again once Bristol is gone. So, I don’t know what they could get from my voting.

And sometimes it’s not about being better. Emmett Smith?

I don’t think there’s anyone voting for Bristol who thinks she’s a better dancer than Brandy or Jennifer anyway. She’s trying hard and NOT whining constantly to get voter sympathy. I hope Brandy beats Jennifer for the whining alone.

HA! So Grey truly is just an emotional pain the butt. I wonder if she read the book or listened to Swayze’s recording? Apparently not!

So what if they are?

DWTS just needs to drop the audience vote if they're that worried about it.

When any contestant on "America's Got Talent" performs, I'm sure their entire home town and all of their family votes for them.

You can tell the judges on DWTS try to be, er, civil to Bristol, but I see a seething, liberal contempt behind their storebought smiles.

Just think what will happen if Bristol wins....oh, the feces will hit the proverbial fan then....woo hooo...LOL.

I just went on the Bristol Palin fan page on Facebook and some of the comments were not only hateful but completely STUPID. As in “why would anyone vote for someone just because they like them?” Hmmm, seems to me that is probably the biggest reason people vote.

TV is about money. If keeping Bristol there is making them money, they will keep her as long as they can. The advertisers may have noticed an uptick in viewers.

Could be also true that this show has the pros working with celebs. Bristol is the only one that isn’t really a celebrity of some kind.

Maybe people feel she is the underdog.

Sorry, that was DWTS facebook webpage. I suspect the Bristol pages clears off a lot of the hate.

Leftists gladly stuff any ballot box they can get their hands on but if conservatives do it...

I vote for Bristol on my landline, cellphone and computer. Hey, it’s fun playing like a democrat while gigging em’. Bristol is a nice young woman and is handling herself beautifully in an alien environment. After the way she has been horribly represented in the press I hope she wins the whole thing.

If Jennifer Grey was smart she would have her nose put back the way it was.

She went from having a unique (and very attractive) look to total anonymity with that ill-advised nose-job
