Yes, DO IT. The best thing ? If you work during the day, you can pick up your first few contracts while keeping your day work.
In my environment, I use the Kodak waterproof Sport 100 camera, with an 8 gig memory card. Total cost was $100. This system allows me to hang it around my neck, and I record (literally) 8 hours of full activity everyday. I keep a week of videos on my computer at home.
I was blamed for stealing from an office once. ONCE. Now I’m fully accountable.
Setup yourself and your staff (Find an out of school person, and set them up on the camera as well) and when you get your 3rd client, you will be able to double or triple a fast-food type of paycheck.
Do good things for the business owner. They know other business owners, and refer vendors all the time. You’ll get your second and third in no time flat.
I have been a homebrewer for nearly 30 years as a hobby.
I am taking that knowledge and hope to open a homebrew supply store sometime within the next 2 years as my next career.
