Dec. 12: New York Jets assistant Sal Alosi apologized after blatantly tripping Miami's Nolan Carroll on the sideline during Gang Green's 10-6 loss to the Dolphins Sunday.
New York Jets assistant coach Sal Alosi apologized after blatantly tripping Miami's Nolan Carroll on the sideline during Gang Green's 10-6 loss to the Dolphins Sunday.
The strength and conditioning coach was ushered out of New Meadowlands Stadium by a staff member, ignoring interview requests by the New York Post and protected by two security members at an exit.
After the Jets confirmed he was the guilty tripper and the NFL announced it was reviewing the play, Alosi apologized.
"I made a mistake that showed a total lapse in judgment," Alosi said in a statement, adding that he apologized to Carroll and Dolphins coach Tony Sparano. < -- snip -- >

It gets much much worse than that in the NFL. Heck they allow convicted felons to be quarterbacks.

I was pointing out that the NFL allows and even encourages people who have done much worse than this coach.
Rape, wife beaters, dog killers, druggies are all NFL star EMPLOYEES.

He doesn’t owe me anything. I thought he was scum before his arrest and nothing has changed. So I choose not to buy their product.
Like BDS (Bush derangement syndrome), Vick haters seem to have a similar mind-set....
Vick is FAR from the only criminal in the NFL. In fact he’s a lightweight.
I thought I couldn’t think any less of the Jets sportmanship and class. I was wrong.
The Steelers are being targeted by the NFL. Wonder who the Rooneys pi$$ed off.

I have no problem with Vick playing in NFL, Just think he should have to pay restitution. I am thinking 1 years of NFL salary for each dog he was involved in the killing, torturing, or fighting. Lets see if he really loves the game or is just out for the easy money. I bet Vick gets busted for another felony before his career is over, remember its not his fault he was raised that way.
