Okay folks, what happens from here? Seriously, is there a chance that the toothpaste can be put back into the tube with respect to healthcare, cap & trade, etc? I know there are many smart folks in here, and I'd love to hear your thoughts.

It’s biblical. The end times. Just wait for Jesus.

I hate to drag your post down from the begenning but honestly history offers no other solution beyond lots of people dying. Good people have to rise up and become far worse than the evil they must destroy. And the ones that survive can go home and help rebuild whats left.

A culture that is rotting from within can only be cured from within, or it will be destroyed from within or from the outside.

Rule by bureacratic fiat must be ended entirely in the United States. The Republic cannot bear this. We must have are laws made by our elected representatives, not by unelected bureacrats.

Resistance

Trust me, this will not be allowed to stand. The whole of Obama's unconstitutional usurpation of power is going to come tumbling down. The people have only just begun to fight.

And the answer is....;

The scu&bags have elected the scu&bags to run things and the people who were thought to be the antidote to the scu&bags are scu&bags themselves. So, the answer is....
the scu&bags are winning, so hold on to your wallets and think of what concentration camp you’d prefer. (Hot climate or cold climate.)

Look around you. Some of the people who surround you have looked to humans for salvation.

IMHO

If there is to be a chance that we save America truely as the nation it was intended to be then we must raise our voice and oppose these types of ‘rule of law’ that offer no recourse to giving representation to ‘We the People’.

Of course in regards to our National Security we will always have to live by some different standard but not in regards to regulating business, and our personal lives. This is a pure fascism to have new laws passed without the Congress simply by FIAT by a leader.

We ALL need to make our voices and our outrage HEARD!!!

That is my suggestion for what we should do.

Dont shut-up, get louder.

Pray for the bankruptcy of the Federal Government.

We’ll either go into a dictatorship or return to limited Government and local power. it’s a 50/50 chance, but its better than the road of out-of-control Gov’t we are on now.

Have you already forgotten November?

Friend, the country just took a right turn hard enough to throw half the liberal passengers out the left side window.

Yes, the new 'Tea-publicans' in the US House are going to do great things. Even more-so after President Palin is sworn in.

Yes it is possible it will all be unfunded if not repealed. In case you don’t know, we are in the eye of the storm, every level of government and the banks are bankrupt. We are bankrupt. Obamacare is going to blow up because healthcare will go blackmarket as costs skyrocket. Cap and Trade will blow up as people start to freeze their butts off from lack of fuel.

It ain’t gonna be pretty, it is like the bursting of a boil.

De-fund the EPA. Congress has the power to do it.

November was great but Obama’s approval rating sure doesn’t seem to be getting any worse no matter how far down the fascism path he takes us.

It will take much more than gaining control of congress and the presidency. The entire federal apparatus will have to be purged. Tens of thousands of bureaucrats, agents, and other types of officials will have to go. Getting these people to accept the loss of their parasitic way of life will lead to violence on a scale we have not seen on American soil since the Civil War. These feds will fight back with everything they can muster, and their army will be made of the freeloader class and the radicalized left.

If we want to re-establish the republic then we are going to have to get damn nasty, and do things that we normally would consider unthinkable. The day when the ballot box could save the republic are long over. The decision time is coming soon, and Obama is just speeding up the process.

Obama has just about hit rock bottom as far as his approval rating goes. His hard-core liberal base (including the majority of blacks) won't ever disapprove of him, no matter how rotten a president he is.

If you've been watching carefully, though, he's lost a lot of support among Independents, and so-called moderate Democrats. They're one of the reasons that so many Governorships, state legislatures, and US House seats went red in the last election. He's been refudiated - Big Time.

He's about to start the second half of his term without a fully compliant Congress, and in fact, the Congress will likely bend him into a pretzel over the next two years with defunding of his signature programs and alphabet agencies. There are going to be lots of investigations to keep him on pins and needles, as well. It's going to be very entertaining.

And, let's not forget all of the federal lawsuits that the states will be bringing over ObamaCare and the EPA clean air mandates. He's about to be pummeled with opposition from the right, like nobody's business.

Nothing I’d enjoy more than watching him get politically pummeled for the next two years.

I must say that cap & trade scares me much more than Obamacare. As bad as Obamacare is, cap & trade could completely destroy what’s left of the economy...and to think that it’s all being done in the name of ‘climate change’.
