God has placed us where we are ... as the hands, feet, voice, vessels of doing His will carrying His message to those we encounter each and everyday. No greater job exists than this. All Christians are included. Be mindful of the sacred message we carry. Peter says ... always be prepared to give an answer for the reasons for our faith.

Jesus said,”my sheep hear my voice”.

It is a sacred and worthy assignment for all Christians.

Buddy is making headway on getting the family trained. Marissa got a couple of good pictures of him yesterday. I will try to get one posted later.

I have a few errands that need to be taken care of today, so I will be off and on.

 THE MEASURE OF A MAN

"mere man", you say
and well it may be so
when measured by an 
earthly test and rod
much more I pray
a man is measured true
when soul and spirit's 
measured by my God

this flesh and bone
when rendered to its base
could barely make a 
bar of soap of me
and yet my Lord
transcends all time and space
and grants my soul
to taste eternity.

FEBRUARY IS NOT A BARGAIN

February is not a bargain
Besides its cold and long dark nights
Its icy streets and frozen lakes and rivers
It has the audacity to cheat us out of a couple days
And wallowing in its own ego
Still claims to be a month.
