Thurs, I froze the last bit of the veggie soup I made last weekend. : )

Grew most of the veggies myself, too.

Same with the chili, 'cept for the meat and beans. I use frozen peppers for the seasoning, no chili powder.

Love the family...Piper has the most expresive face and they’ve kept in all her off the wall comments. Like when they go to Valdez, her mother explains the route the oil takes and asks her where the oil ends up.

Piper’s reply “In the water”.....The oil actually does end up being taken from the port in boats so technically she’s right. It’s the looks on her devilish looking face.

Piper and Grandpa Heath need a show of their own.

I love marathons.

I was mentioning to windflier earlier about the math of 'she can't win'. Looks like this:

Say the R turnout in '06 was X (broken glass Rs).
And the R turnout in '08 was X + Y (Y being the people who vote in presidentials but not midterms.)
And the R turnout in '10 was X + Z, Z being the new Tea Party adds to turnout.

Doesn't '12 guarantee that X, Y and Z will turnout and vote for Sarah, and isn't X, Y and Z bigger than the rats' 08 turnout?

Have been growing my own beans. They’re easy, dry right on the vine and can be canned, frozen or stored dry. Even dry easy to just drop some into tomatoes night before to rehydate.

I'm getting a kick out of Piper and watching Trigs face light up when he's around his Mama. Willow seems a bit bored with it all at times though.
