Palin should at the top of the ticket. We can have any Whole-Constitution Conservative at the bottom. No RINOs, no statists, no gun-grabbers, no homo advocates, no bankers, no trial lawyers.

I used to think that her thighness was a lock too but wikileaks and now losing egypt have made me reconsider that position.

A large portion of the Republican base will vote social issues. You cannot be socially liberal and fiscally conservative, its not possible. It is not possible to believe the government needs to give everyone handouts and welfare and still be fiscally conservative, for example.

You go ahead. 30% of the GOP is about what 15% of the general election vote? You go ahead and win with that.

PALIN/BACHMAN

UNBEATABLE TICKET!

Yes I am counting a significant number of democrap sheeple women who will switch sides to vote for the all-girl ticket. I know some of them.

The only thing he could do to counter it is dump Biden and select HilLIARy

any combination of Thune/Pawlenty/Ryan/Rubio is fine with me.Its gonna be tough for Romney and Palin to reach either end.

I’m definitely not going to pick Huntsman, simply because the Politico wants me to think Obama is “concerned”.

I fear we're being sold Romney/Barbour way in advance of ticket sales...

But when Palin wins Iowa over Rilt Mormney, heh...

I was impressed with Jon Huntsman.

Huntsman's a nanny stater and a RINO.

Mitch is my Gov. He’s a good policy wonk, and administrator, kinda not great on the social conservative stuff. And I’ll never forgive him for bringing DST(pick a time and stick with it) to the state.

He just doesn’t light my fire, if you know what I mean. He doesn’t inspire me.

“Some Republicans are not going to want to hear this,” Paul told the crowd at the rally, according to the Courier-Journal. “But I live near Fort Campbell, and there are 50,000 soldiers there. I tell people you have to truly imagine what your feelings would be if those soldiers were Chinese soldiers and they were occupying the United States. We wouldn’t have it. Republican and Democrat, we’d be blowing up the Chinese with roadside bombs as they were coming off the base. No country wants foreign soldiers on their land.”

“’I think torture is always wrong’ and that ‘our country should have a higher ideal than that.’” - speaking of waterboarding

“It’s always funny because I’ve been in public life and not been afraid to speak my mind for probably twenty-some-odd years,” Paul said in response to a reporter’s question about his position on the Agriculture Department. “And so people always say, you know, ‘Did you say this?’ And it’s like, ‘Well, I don’t know, it’s been 20 years of me popping off and saying what I thought.’”

They know they would have a field day with the 20 years of quotations, some good, some crazy. They would be the ones picking and choosing.

John Thune is terrible. He is pro-ethanol. I will personally campaign against him or any Romney-type candidate.

I’ve spent most of the last 36 hours in the ER with my wife. In my haze, I mixed Rand Paul and Paul Ryan in my head. Paul Ryan is one that Obama fears and I could get behind.

Forgive my (hopefully temporary) senior moment.
