Thank you, Billie. Everyone wanted that puppy. It is not photo-shopped either. He’s a cutie.
That is a sweet little snow angel....thank you!
My dryer is screaming “this is almost your last chance to get these clothes out before they wrinkle.” LOL! Thats the way I feel sometimes.
Yikes! Until yorkie’s picture of the kitty, I didn’t notice the heart shape on your puppy - I was concentrating on that sweet face!
By the way, I found that on Yahoo about 2 years ago and in a day or two, it was on several news reports about the puppy born with a perfect heart shape on its side. I bet many people wanted that cute thing! It probably cost a fortune, too!
LOL! Yesterday it was 70+ degrees, and I was helping hubby put in a new gate. Warm, shirt-sleeve weather with no wind - one of the most beautiful days we’ve had, but by the time we finished dinner last night, the cold front was coming in with a vengeance!
Piglets are so cute, fortunately they grow up ugly and I don’t mind that they become bacon and ham. ;)
LOL! (”Bacon and ham”)
I know what you mean - when my husband was in Junior Chamber of Commerce (MANY years ago), the punishment for those who had not recruited a new member, was to get a REAL LIVE PIG! They had to keep the critter until they got a new member signed up! (We got the pig for one day and night, and I think he BRIBED someone to sign up.) He then had to bring the pig to another ‘slacking’ member....
Needless to say - the thing tore up my yard and nearly gave my dog a nervous breakdown. LOL!!!
I have LOVED bacon and ham, ever since!
OMG, I would adopt that lil baby in a “HEART”beat!
Me too. Although calves do not grow up to be as ugly as piglets do.
I have a friend who is a vegetarian. Shee will not eat anything that had a face. I tease her about oysters, clams and scallops. She won’t eat those either and I keep asking her to show me a picture of their faces.
LOL....no face, just eyes!
Not these 2, they are spoiled and don’t like to share. And hubby says no more pets that have to be boarded, he wants to be free to travel. They are getting to be about 9 now, Rock is a mini poodle 17 lbs, Stan is a Peekapoo 12 lbs.
WOW! That is just plain wonderful! How precious! :-)
I think you and JC are getting that ‘nesting urge’, ML!
Every now and then I think of getting another dog or cat and then, by the next day, I think not. Catch me in a weak moment and who knows. I’ve sure had a lot of animals in my life and this may be the longest I’ve gone without one.
Know what I mean? Do you think you may be getting another one or not?
That is so pretty. Does that happen to be your pansy? Its lovely but brrrr!
Now, thats a cute little pig!
It IS my pansy and this is what the poor things were looking
like earlier today. LOL!
They are tough little boogers and when this snow leaves, they may come through it just fine! You will have to let us know. I know they can come through a lot of cold!!
Very nice oldteen.
I'm just tired of the cold and Winter! Felt the need for some Spring in my day! :)
I will let you know. They usually survive the cold and then
croak when it starts getting hot like it can here in Texas!
I think we are ALL ready for Spring, Teenie!
Punxsutawney Phil after emerging from his burrow on Gobblers Knob in Punxsutawney, Pa., to see his shadow and forecast six more weeks of winter weather in 2010. What will he see on Groundhog Day 2011?
When will he make his prediction on Groundhog Day 2011? In recent years, the prognostication has come at about 7:30 a.m. Eastern time.
They like to keep us in suspense as long as they can. I expect it will be around 8 or 8:30 in the morning. We have had so much bad weather this winter and today was bright and sunny and I don’t know what tomorrow will bring to Tennessee.
This is so precious, yorkie! I think thats the kind of dog that Marissa wanted a while back. I know she is thrilled with her new pup, Buddy. He was cute.
SO cute, JC! Beagle puppies are adorable!
YOu asked earlier, if I was going to get another dog - and I haven’t decided yet. Part of me doesn’t want to be tied down with the responsibility - but part of me just adores the unconditional love (and the nurturing that goes with it)...............so we’ll see.
Thank you, teenie. I hung around some last night and didn’t see any activity so I went ahead and shut down. Then, I went to sleep in the lazyboy, then had to wake up and do the coffee for morning. It was going on 1:00 when I went up to bed. Oh, well, it doesn’t matter WHERE I get my sleep...LOL!
I know what you mean about getting a pet. Their love is so wonderful but there is a lot of responsibility. My son and I were talking about that last night. I guess there's a lot more good than bad but its a hard decision for me to make at this time in my life.
Phil did not see his shadow so we can expect an Early Spring....LOL!
Hope it is just a check up and good news.
I have my third round of PT this morning...it is pure torture, I come out in more pain than I went in with.
Every so often, my computer becomes sluggish. Frequent use of certain programs and documents causes pieces of information to become scattered, requiring my computer to search for the pieces before I can use them. To fix it, I need to run a program that retrieves the pieces and groups them together where they are easily accessible. This process is called defragmentation.
Like my computer, my life gets fragmented. One situation tugs on my emotions while Im trying to concentrate on something else. Demands from every direction bombard me. I want to accomplish everything that needs to be done, but my mind wont stop and my body wont start. Soon I begin to feel weary and useless.
Recently I attended a retreat where one of the handouts included a prayer with words that expressed how I felt: Lord, I am scattered, restless, and only half here.
King David also went through such times (Ps. 55:2). In prayer, David presented his needs to God morning, noon, and evening, confident that he would be heard (v.17).
Prayer can help to defragment our lives. When we cast our cares on the Lord, He will show us what we need to do and what only He can do.
Read: Psalm 55:1-8
Sorry - couldn't help it.
I just HAD to post it.
It is a routine visit and I hate to go. The weather was so nice yesterday and the wind is up so bad today, its about to blow my flag away. High winds I don’t like but I cancelled my last appointment and feel I must keep this one...bah-humbug!
I hate to tell you but PT didn’t help me at all. It truly helps some people but not me. I was praying that it would help. I also had 3 epidurals and they didn’t change one thing. My doctor recommends I go to another group of doctors soon...neurological/spine group. I may give in soon.
I love it, yorkie. My feelings exactly. I don’t wanna go to the doctor....~~sniff~~! The winds are horrible.
I’m glad you don’t live in Chicago! It is horrible there! Are you expecting any snow from this storm?
WHAT a cutie! (That isn’t HIS kitten, is it?)
Our weather has been so nice. We almost made it to 60 yesterday and I think its around 40 this morning, which is good considering what we have had. I think the bad storms will miss us this time, Praise the Lord! The wind is as bad as I’ve ever seen it.
Have you been watching the fighting in Cairo? They’ve gone crazy. They are all crazy over there anyway, if you will pardon me!! LOL!
No, but if you would ask him, his would be the cutest...LOL! She is a sweet, sweet cat. She’s recovered from her illness and has a good appetite. In fact, he is considering cutting back on her food, as she is putting on a little too much weight.
