To digress but slightly, what is your opinion on hunting?

I wouldn't go hunting myself but I'm not upset that other people do. Hunting serves a valuable purpose in that it keeps wild animal populations under control. If it weren't for hunters, wild animals would likely outbreed their food supply and die of starvation. So in that respect hunting is actually humane.

Of course I don’t condone animal fights. Neither do I put animals on the same level as a human. Animal fights are largely a cultural thing and were quite common in the US not so long ago.

It appears this individual didn't seek immediate care after he was stabbed in the calf. I don't think this qualifies for a "violent, bloody, death." Bloody, obviously, but violent not so much. Not unless you want to humanize this animal.

It’s still obvious, despite your smarmy reply, that you are committing the sin that Paul preached against: worshipping the creation rather than the Creator.

Animals have no souls, and a man doesn’t deserve death because he kills an animal...whether through trapping, fishing, hunting, fighting them together or slaughtering for food.

By linking that mans’ death as a just punishment for his sins to chickens, you are declaring man and animal morally equivalent, and they are not.
