I would think if she was ill or anything she would let someone know!
I'm hoping she is off ENJOYING herself! :)
To: yorkie; JustAmy
Well, I think she knows we will behave ourselves in her room, even if she's not here............Of course she does!
And, maybe we will, then again...hahahaha! :)

I go for a loaf of bread
and I spend a hundred bucks!
To: yorkie
Exactly the same here. I needed juices, coffee, bread and bought way too much. Tomorrow I’m going to have to straighten out the fridge....its such a mess. Everything’s a mess. I need some order in my life lately!

I figured you as the type to feel 'nekkid' if you weren't sportin' your pearls when you went 'out'! ;)
BTW...they're gaw-jus! :)
To: yorkie; jaycee
LOL...I do the same thing.
I tell hubby I'm going to 'run' to the store, I need a few things. He knows better...he's even called the daughter and had her call the store to see if I'm there and OK! hahaha

OK - it’s Saturday night - and our shopping is done. When are we going to PAR-TAY?
Geeeeez........
To: yorkie
Hey!
My night is free...my dance card is empty...and I've got my drink in front of me! (Diet caffeine free Pepsi...pretty much just colored water! lol) Like a WILD CHILD, I like living on the edge! :)
I only ask one thing....PLEASE! Check the guys at the door for Polo cologne...lol. Allergies are killin' me and that stuff (if they even make it anymore) makes my head pound!
To: oldteen
It seems something happens to women when they get in the grocery store. If grocery prices keep rising, I'm gonna have to stay away from the stores. I can run to the Dollar Store and get coffee (the same kind I use) and when I do that I don't go spending too much money.
They also carry the milk I drink, so I usually always get it there. Its just about 6 blocks. I can get in and out and back home in 10-15 minutes. If I run in the big food stores, I always buy too much and sometimes I'm too tired to carry them in and put away but I have to anyway.
I will finish cleaning up the kitchen in the morning as I am worn out today. I may go to bed a little early tonight. Its 10:30 here now.

I’m too tired to par-tay tonight! Sure wish I felt like it. Ya’ll have a good time if you have your little night-time party. But this one has to turn in tonight. I told you it had been hectic since I got up this morning. Nothing serious, just stuff.
I’ll be ‘a-checking’ on ya’ll tomorrow....LOL!
Do you think something’s wrong with Amy? Or hubby or something?

I don't have the luxuries of a big town/city.
Closest dollar store is 30 miles! But, when I go up the hill I most certainly do hit that store!

Do you think somethings wrong with Amy? Or hubby or something?I pray there isn't!
Sweet dreams, jaycee!
See you tomorrow!

I have 3 different $ Stores fairly close-by and I like a lot of things about them. Their cleaning stuff is good. They carry name brands and cheaper brands. They have a cleaner that I love for a dollar. Its called Awesome Orange and is in a bottle sorta like Windex. Its good in the bathrooms and the kitchen. These stores are good if you need paper towels or toilet tissue quickly and don’t wanna go to the store, also Kleenex and off brands.
I’m turning in, dear ones. Have funzies...see ya tomorrow!

The Stones
March 20, 2011
Not long ago, our friends had a gathering at their house and invited a group of people who were all music lovers. Kevin and Ilse, who are both gifted musicians, requested that each person or couple bring a rock for a fire pit that was often the site for their evening musical jams. But they didnt want just plain ol rocks. They asked that each one be marked with a name or date or event that indicated how or when everyone had become friends.
God felt that the Israelites needed a reminder of an amazing event in their lives. Although the Jordan River had been at flood stage, the Israelites had been able to cross over on dry ground because God had stopped the water from flowing (Josh. 3:13-17). Something similar had happened years before in an escape from Egypt (see Ex. 14:21-31). On this occasion, however, God instructed His people to build a memorial of stones so that in the future when children would ask about the stones, parents could remind them of the mighty hand of God (Josh. 4:23-24).
As God continually cared for the Israelites, He continues to provide for us today. What stones of remembrance will you use to remind your children, grandchildrenand even yourselfof the evidence of Gods might?
Gods faithfulness weve known throughout the years,
His oneness with us in our joys and tears;
So many times the Lord has helped us through,
Has answered prayer and given strength anew. F. Hess
Remembering Gods goodness is a good cure for doubt.
Read: Joshua 4
When your children ask . . . What are these stones? then you shall let [them] know, saying, Israel crossed over this Jordan on dry land.
Joshua 4:21-22

A Prayer in Spring
Robert Frost (1915)
Oh, give us pleasure in the flowers to-day;
And give us not to think so far away
As the uncertain harvest; keep us here
All simply in the springing of the year.
Oh, give us pleasure in the orchard white,
Like nothing else by day, like ghosts by night;
And make us happy in the happy bees,
The swarm dilating round the perfect trees.
And make us happy in the darting bird
That suddenly above the bees is heard,
The meteor that thrusts in with needle bill,
And off a blossom in mid air stands still.
For this is love and nothing else is love,
The which it is reserved for God above
To sanctify to what far ends He will,
But which it only needs that we fulfil.

"Do you think somethings wrong with Amy? Or hubby or something?"
Sorry that I was away most of the past two days. Everyone is fine. It just seems to get so hectic around the Just Home.
I'm trying to spend more time with Marissa on her homework. She is not doing very well .... she really needs help with her math. Now she is working on a state project and she chose Hawaii.
She has a section about famous people born in Hawaii. She would not include a picture of Zero. I insisted and she asked how we knew he was born in Hawaii since he hasn't shown his birth certificate. :)
I think she is part of the VRWC.
We picked out a new puppy yesterday but will not pick her up until 4-15. After losing Buddy, we want them to give her all 3 puppy shots before bringing her home. She is a German Shepherd mix ..... mostly black. I think Marissa still wants to name her Daisy.
We had a puppy dumped on us last week. He is about 3 months old; I think he is pit bull mix. Marissa has named him Ralphie. We are going to give him to the rescue people but they have asked that we shelter him for a couple of weeks. I will take him to PetSmart next Friday so they can give him his first shots and take his picture.
I've also been trying to spend some time with my brother. He seems to being doing much better. He is now on high blood pressure medication. They suspect he may have had at least one mild stroke. He has an appt to see a neurologist on the 29th.
Anyway, time sure slips away. Thank you all for your wonderful posts. Thank you for keeping the doors open to AP.
Hugs to you all.

Well, its good to hear that you’re not sick, Amy. We all worried about you. Glad its nothing serious.
We all get overcome at times....I do, in fact, I’ve been that way for a while now. So much to do, don’t feel like doing it and don’t know where to start.
I’m glad Marissa is not using O in her project. I hope she doesn’t go to school and tell them her Mama doesn’t like O. (I know she won’t, but I thought you needed a smile.) I know how patriotic she is and I hope she doesn’t turn Democrat on us. LOL! We would hate to gang up and give her a spanking!
See you later. I have to get dressed before I can finish posting some comments!
