Your prayers to the Lord Jesus for my Tom's recovery would be dearly appreciated. He's been in the ICU for 10 days now.

We place our sick under your care and humbly ask that you restore your servant to health again. Above all, grant us the grace to acknowledge your will and know that whatever you do, you do for the love of us. Amen.

Dearest Lord jesus,
Thanking you for the priviledge we have to bring Tom to you...you know him well and for that all which he might need to come thru this time until it has passed. We ask that this might indeed be so.
Additionally Lord, we pray that you will give your wisdom to those who are caring for Tom and the decisions being made on his behalf. Sometimes there are no easy answers or seemingly solutions...but you are the God of all the answers and so we pray those will all come according to your will and plan for Tom
Praying also for those standing by who may feel helpless at this time...give them patience as you work... and understanding that Toms time is in your hands and all which concerns him. May they know a very real sense of your abiding presence in these hours and the days ahead...especially for his beloved wife.
In Your name we ask this,

Insist on all normal measures for blood clot prevention, I speak from personal experience. Inactivity from being in ICU can be a problem.
