I mean that the end of the world will be Sometime, and it might be before my neighborhood is good archaeological territory.

Actually, we put the wine bottles in the recycle bin, so unless we decide to turn them into yard art - which isn’t a bad idea - the future will not know how much we, personally, drank ;-).

There’s a thought! It’s been so long since I’ve had a little girl to think about pacifying that I’m not really sure how to do it. I’m the gramma of LOTS of boys!

*Vroooom! Vroooom!”

11 years since we had a little girl ;-).

Jake just creepied through the deep savannah grassland and charged a bird, but it flew away. Disappointing.

I saw a photo where someone made a “Christmas tree” out of Heiniken bottles. Wouldn’t wine bottles work as well?

I can’t see why not. It would just be bigger. A house up the road a couple of miles - I passed it taking Tom to driver’s ed all last week - has a mobile made of wine bottles hanging from a tree.

When I got my daughter, she was already eight years old. The adoption was final when she was 10.

No female grandchildren. So I’m at a loss....the Little Redhead (2 1/2 years old) loves me, but I have no clue what I’m doing...

HELP!!!!

You could always tell the Curious that you “accept donations for bottles, yes indeed!” That way, they would never know...;o]

Cupcake or cookie with pink icing and sprinkles. Stuffed animal (25 cents at my Salvation Army store, although she probably doesn’t want stingrays or lizards like my kids ;-). Flowers you pick from your landscaping.

Play with her and take her seriously, at the same time. This morning, for example, I found Frank drowning Lego Star Wars clone troopers in Ash’s water bowl. “Die, twoopah. You doid!” “Oh, isn’t that nice, Frank! You’ve saved the Republic, again! Now let’s get out of Ash’s water dish ...”

If you ever get the chance to to taste sage hen on an authentic Native American menu, take it. You will not be disappointed. (As long as it’s in North America!)

Noted, and thanks.

Being a grandparent is a different task altogether from what I hear.
Good luck.

The bravest man in all of Graknia was one Ingbar Blurgerwhelp who did single combat against a stale tuna melt in the King’s refrigerator that had begun waylaying passers by to demand tribute and prisoners.

I play with her with what I have at hand. I pay attention, I let her know i’m listening and that I think she is important. But I have nothing to help her play...just me and the stuff in my “KAV.”

So I need input about Little Redheads!!

Two-year-olds like arranging things into patterns. If you can find some colored blocks or something like a Chinese Checkers set, that can occupy them for quite a while. “What if we line up all the reds? Now can we put the reds alternating with the blues? How about the triangles and the cubes?”

A ream of paper and some crayons is good, too. Little kids love to color sheet after sheet of paper. I usually give each of the little boys a ream of paper for Christmas and birthdays. Watercolor paints, 99 cents for the cheap ones at Hobby Lobby. I can send you a gross, if you’d like.
