I still have a difficult time fathoming how anyone could get on a public stage and ask the crowd to have compassion for the murderers right after 9/11. Imagine after Pearl Harbor some moron getting on stage and asking the audience to have compassion for the Japanese. In contrast, I was at a Paul Simon concert the day after Obama announced BL’s death, and Simon before one his songs, told the audience that after ten years, he was glad justice was finally served. Simon’s pretty liberal, but I guess not all libs are like Gere.

Wasn’t it when he was married to Cindy Crawford and he was at some Hollyweird Award show in which he wanted every to communally “think” about Tibet, all at the same time? And then the TV panned off of him ASAP?

I realistically (I thought) expected Obama to perform in the bottom ten out of our 44 presidents, ending up in the bottom five if he had eight years and refused to learn from his mistakes. A fair assessment today is that he is second from the bottom, just above James Buchanan, and trying hard to take first place from the man who mishandled the start of the Civil War so terribly. I will be thrilled and surprised if Obama comes out of our White House as only the second worst occupant of that great house, but either way I don’t think he belongs on the list with our 43 presidents.
I always get my political opinions from people who pretend to be someone else.
As funny as all the gerbil jokes are, has there been any real proof (news release, ex wife)? I don’t get where all these rumors came from.
