Yes, I think she is still around. She has a Facebook, so she may be going there more. I know her real name, but right now I’m having a senior moment and can’t think of her FR name. The sweet darling has sent me Christmas packages every year for several years.
I guess we all run to FR when anything happens.
True. As for those bemoaning FR’s “old-schoolness,” we’ve seen way too much “change” that has left us with very little “hope.” New is not necessarily better, and I value FR’s consistency more each day. Anyone desiring a different website is free to join it, and someone seeking the perfect website should build it. FR will always be great just as it is!

Some do, but we don’t mention it. I come here to relax and have fun and learn. Don’t need the “heavy” stuff. I get that every day at work.

Oh Oh! I saw video of Shrillery the other day and she’s wearing a version of a twist, also! I commented here weeks ago that I’ve noticed she’s letting her hair grow long, and what might be ‘up’ with that?

LOL. It’s not that bad... only four feathers and on one side. The others were temporary for the hair show. I hate to be gone from here for a whole week, but I am anxious to get *home* for a week. I’ll have my sweet hairdresser take a photo on Tuesday for y’all.
And how many times has the press even noted how FR usually beats them to the punch when big events occur. Probably the most famous episode of that was the Columbia Explosion over Texas, and how Freepers were the first ones to comment that there was a problem.
And I still believe a lot of talk show hosts will still use FR for their show prep.
oH yeah ... close the tag, bold .. screwed up pages we all did that went on for miles. The really really OLD days.
