No...far worse.
As a Habs fan, I must say the best team won, have watched most of the gaqmes in the playoffs and Vancouver canucks was vaining as time vent on, congrats to the Bruins, they deserved the cup more than the Canucks
Go Vancouver ... I love you always
The Swedes were not attacked by Germany in WWII. They did manage to save all the Jews that escaped there from Denmark.
They, like Switzerland were neutral, but with a strong and ready defense that was good enough that Hitler never attacked.

That was an awful game. Just sickening to lose to an inferior team. Ah, well. Congrats Bruins fans. Enjoy.
Good golly I thought that the Canunk fans were much more classy then that in loss.
He, Bettam is dispised in the Greater Hartford, CT area also. Ask Howard Baldwin.
I am very SURPRISED they would riot in short order. I thought Vancouver was a LAID BACK city? Amazing.
I could not believe it either that they would riot.
Whoa, congrats to the Bruins on a great win.
But that's still a disturbing quote..........
:-)
The one thing I wish they would have had, at the Canunks home games was an orgin playing instead of the tech music. At least that makes an NHL hockey game. I think the Bruins at home have an orgin.
That was disappointing. I have been to Vancouver, it is a very nice looking city (even if it does have, IMO, a visible population of aggressive panhandlers and public drug users)
I have to admit, I watched the live feed for several hours. I just could not go to bed. More disturbing, it made me forget (even as a Bruins fan) that The Cup had just been won.
Seeing the dark side of mob mentality disturbs me greatly. And my heart goes out the “normal” people out there who are shocked and disgusted by what they see.
You see, I understand too well the difference there. As a New England Patriots fan, I had to come to that realization and acceptance of that distinction when the Patriots lost to the New York Giants in the Super Bowl on February 3, 2008.
The Patriots did not lose to an inferior team. The team that won was de facto better. Even truer in this case, because it was seven games, not one.
This is not meant as a gloat, because I don't believe in that. But just as the Giants were clearly a better team in beating my beloved Patriots, the Bruins were clearly better as a team in beating the Canucks.
When I had seen just one video of the rioting, and just that one, I have to feel very bad for those folks there who want nothing to do with the rioting, but also about the new Ann Coulter book, which just came out call “Domonic”, about mob mentality as well as liberalism.
... but the Bruins didn't lose.
Hell, Bettmann even got booed here in Raleigh when the ‘Canes won. The crowd just wanted him to shut the hell up so they could see Rob Brind’amour finally lift that Cup over his head.

I was a small kid back in 94 and the same idiots burned down the half the downtown core when we lost to the Rangers.
If that happened at a loss, this did not even surprise me. I actually did predict this would happen in my earlier posts.
So he is that much HATED all over the NHL community then.
He seems to be. They even boo him in cities where he wanted them to have teams. But they really let him have it in Canada most of all. They’ve really hated seeing teams like Winnipeg moved down here. (Although Winnipeg is getting their team back.)
