Agree totally. Talk about being "conned"...this was supposed to be a "death qualified" panel, and it appears at least one of them was pretty fast and loose with the truth with regard to being able to vote for death.

If you read the Greta transcript (it's on her website) you can see that Ashton may have been going in another direction with her question. I believe there was also another piece of duct tape found nearby, wasn't there? In any event, Ashton was focusing on the flooding that took place in the swampy area in his response. People can interpret for themselves.
He couldn't have been more clear in his closing arguments that the duct tape had been applied tightly to the corpse at time of death and that is what kept the mandible in place. We weren't all hallucinating when we heard that.
Sounds like in that particular instance, that juror bonded with Casey, as liars sometimes do with one another. How sad, how awful.

Good. I harken back to the trial and the twitter remarks of them laughing it up as they left the room, etc. They bought the opening statement with no facts from the defense which they were instructed was not evidence. Then they had a jolly ole time. They didn’t look at the evidence, and saw a manipulated small girl at the defense table. They earned their shun. They even discussed the case among themselves when that was also an instruction to not do. My only hope is that the monster they released doesn’t kill again. If she does, she will be far more savvy and skilled.
Good grief. I’m only stating what the prosecutor himself said. If the prosecutor hasn’t convinced himself how the ell can he convince a jury? When he makes conflicting statements it’s no wonder the jury saw no conviction.

I’m thinking Indylindy might be on to something, because for a porn company to outright reject anyone, it would have to be lower than the low. And it could be that it’s coming from information that has not yet been released to the public. A leak of some sort perhaps.

It seems so conclusive to me, I can't imagine seeing it and not render a guilty verdict....

Yes, I’ve wanted to see it from the beginning. All the websites have the skull obscured, and the autopsy photo is of the entire skeleton.
BTW, is it true Cindy had the body cremated, or is that just a rumor?
Time will tell. It may not happen as quickly as we would like, but something is very odd here.

I was mentioning that case from Kentucky this week about a guy who killed his girlfriend after she wanted out.
He got off for the same reason Casey did. A short while later evidence was found in the floorboards of his house after he moved out, with pics and videos of the torture.
The State could not retry him for the crime, but the feds got him for the videos and he went to prison for 25 years.
Ashton is not so bad, either.

The question is being asks where Casey will go after release. I wouldn’t be surprised if she did go home. Do you remember her mouthing that she did not say those things about her father and hurt her mother or something to that affect? That is Casey beginning to formulate another big lie to get what she wants.
Too bad George and Cindy can’t see their daughter for what she is.
Speaking of seeing their daughter.......seems Cindy applied for permission to go see Casey in jail and the answer was NO....no way does Casey want to see her mother....denied. I suspect they won’t be seeing her when she gets out.
