BBQ and beer what can be better.
Yeah, I had one of those just yesterday. Got it with an order of coleslaw, fries, and an unsweet tea. It was truly wonderful. Then today I had a bacon cheeseburger from Wendy’s. It was wonderful too. The fries were a little undersalted but I enjoyed every bite of the burger. I think we’re living in some kind of fast food golden age. The exception is Taco Bell which is a sad parody of its former self.
Love that stuffed in pita bread with veggies.
Just a Miller High Life.
LOL....just topped off my after-work workout with a nice bottle of whey protein, lol...
Obama said he’d be eating crow tonight.
Who can afford food in this economy? I haven’t eaten in 4 days.....
Loved all your pics. A beer conniseur obviously.
Washing the lovely critter down with plenty of Yuengling Lights (now available in cans in FL!!!)
I'm having soup....!
If my hair starts falling out I will let you know!
If there was a like button I would be hitting it several times, hope you have a great weekend.
The monster burrito and two margaritas at the local Mexican restaurant. To cap it off, a shot of Patron and a Liney’s Summer Shanty. Got the ball game on the radio (Reds at Milwaukee) and sitting on the deck. Yeah, here we go.
Hahaha!! Pretty fun video.
.. Tonight’s dinner is liver with some fava beans and a nice Chianti. ...
Oh, you’er sick.LOL.
Blackened Chicken Tenderloin and packing for a 6:00 AM to the Beach.
Brown rice, seaweed and a dirty hot dog.
Just then the kitchen exploded from boiling fat
Food was flying everywhere
I left without my hat.
Thanks, that’s how we roll down here in Mississippi.
I still like Blue Plate mayonaise on really fresh Wonder Bread and it hasn’t been long since that was all I had.
I don’t know if you have read Reminisce magazine, but one of my favorite features is where people talk about what they ate as kids. One guy said that during the Depression, he ate lard sandwiches. He was so ashamed that he couldn’t trade lunches with the other kids because they’d find out just how poor his family was.
I will be trying this.
Crappie, I don’t think there is a better fish on the face of the Earth.
My exwife was from Mexico and this is my favorite Mexican dish, luckly I have learned how to make better than her. I use pork back bones and I have a butcher that I can get what he calls boneless backbones. I use a family pack of each.
This year I didn't need any dog manure, the moles just gave up...:O)
Yuck, lol. I had to work too long to get this body to workout.
More like a beer nerd or beer geek but not a beer snob.
Chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes, fried okra and green beans, ice tea.
Y’all come on over.
Sizzling beef with black pepper sauce; chicken and peaches with black bean sauce;two sides yellow noodles with prawns;mo shu rou; tea. (I didn’t make it)
Homemade corn beef hash & scotch!
I’m glad you liked my pics. I’m an amature but I try.
Greek salad, no wine. It was great, stinky cheese and all.
Sooo...you'd drink a Miller Lite?
You will have to change your name to skinny cat.
How you been doing RC?
I’ve been eating, not exercising and not gaining any weight.
Otherwise, no changes. Prayers daily.
Looks good. I’m having watermelon and cheap scotch.
I like your page, but could do without the last one, I’m a man ya know.LOL.
Ah, I remember bacon grease sandwiches via my great grandmother ... Circa late 1800’s. She also used to hand wash my brother’s jeans on a washboard in the sink!
She made Potato Soup lickity split with a potato and plain milk.
Baked a homemade cake or pie almost every day.
BBQ beef ribs— homemade — for our big sabbath dinner tonight.
Thanks-——man, that makes a lots of margs.
The Sequoyah opened in 1908; it closed in 1936. When the community approached the Santa Fe Railway to acquire the station for a museum, they were told it was "too close to the tracks." Then the railroad tore it down.
So you don’t think your brain is important?

I try to stay away from Bud, Miller and Coors. I will drink a PBR before them. I live in MS and the big 3 are the ones that keep us from getting good beer here.We have a 5% ABW cap here and I live in a dry county. I have to drive 4-5 hours out of state to get a good beer. We only have one brewery here in MS and homebrewing is aganist the law, but you can make wine and buy whisky. I belong to http://raiseyourpints.com/ a group trying to reform our beer laws in MS.
I only have 2 brain cells.....and they are mad at each other.
That sounds like a heart attack on a plate but also a great meal! Fried okra, my favorite.
Tonight we enjoyed fresh green beans seasoned with chicken broth and Spanish onions, homemade potato salad, and smoked pork chops from Mahogany Meats in Bishop, CA. The web site for ordering on line is www.SMOKEDMEATS.com. Typically on the Lord’s Day we eat Southern even though we live in rural Northern Nevada. This Sunday is sweet potato fries, catfish, and cole slaw. Sweet Hubby was born and bred in Batesville, Arkansas. As an aside, the Batesville Casket Company is the largest provider of caskets in the USA. That bit of trivia was the inspiration for calling the creepy motel in Psycho the Bates Motel.
Nothing that good. Sauteed a couple chicken breasts in butter and having some Evan Williams bourbon on the rocks.
If anyone has a suggestion for another good, cheap bourbon, let me know. There are plenty of good and expensive options, but EW is the best cheap option I’ve found.
