The scion of the erstwhile Travancore Royal Family has advised the Supreme Court not to direct opening of the last cellar (vault B) of the famed Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple in Kerala as it could invite the deity's wrath. In an affidavit before SC, Rama Varma said the vault had an insignia
of a serpent indicating that it would not be advisable to open the treasure trove. Alternatively, he said an appeasement ceremony be held before opening the vault to mollify the deity. The opening of the last cellar namely 'B' is not advisable because serpent sign at the entrance indicates that it is not auspicious to open it. However, a decision on this may be taken after conducting the traditional deva prashnam's as not to incur the displeasure of Lord Padmanabha. Opening without conducting 'deva prasnam' will be contrary to the age old religious custom and practise, senior counsel KK Venugopal, appearing for the petitioner, submitted before a bench of justices RV Raveendran and AK Patnaik.
Varma also opposed any direction from the court for a public display of the huge wealth.

Maybe the "scion" left an IOU in the vault...

Be careful opening your vaults. Gaddafi opened his vault of
144 tons of gold to coin money and look whats happening to him. Where there is wealth there is always someone willing to do anything to get it. Anyone hear of an oil borst?

Let me guess, they’ll open the vault only to find a piece of paper with “Peace on Earth” written on it. Put out an APB on BillY Jack.

Funny, I thought it was the tortured dead guy hanging from a plank wrapped around the rear view mirror of so many cars.

Blue guy on a divan ~ or "verandadan" ~ which is Krishna's Heaven (more or less).
Certainly confounds the timeline.

Considering that Hinduism contributed the words "goon" and "thug" the smarter Leftwintards know what's coming to them should they ridicule that religion.
They also know what will happen if some Moslem with a sword finds their neck.
They'd held their tongues back in the 1500s even around Christians Fur Shur.
They have only this very brief window of time to ridicule religious folks, and that window could close at the drop of an Awakening!

Dunno what a 'deva prasnam' is, but I'll go out on a limb and predict it includes a hefty fee payable to a carefully selected witch-doctor.

You probably haven't watched shows like The Simpsons or Southpark.
