A controversial new law, SB 48, that mandates an emphasis on “lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender” role models in K-12 history and social science curriculum, has been temporarily put on hold.
After SB 48 was signed into law last week by Gov. Jerry Brown, Pacific Justice Institute worked quickly behind the scenes, with several other pro-family organizations to launch the referendum. Papers have been filed with the California Attorney General’s Office. That office is tasked with preparing an official title and summary for the measure, which would allow voters the chance to directly repeal SB 48. A growing coalition of pro-family leaders across the state are supporting the official entity StopSB48.com. Once a title and summary are received from the Attorney General, supporters will have less than 90 days to gather approximately 500,000 valid signatures to place the referendum on the ballot. In the meantime, SB 48 is automatically suspended.
Brad Dacus, president of Pacific Justice Institute, commented, “We have been seeing a groundswell of opposition to the enactment of SB 48, and now it is time to act. We encourage everyone to visit StopSB48.com to learn more and join the coalition. This effort will require us all to sacrifice and work together. We cannot afford to stay silent or stand on the sidelines. Californians are extremely tolerant, but we draw the line when history is revised to please a special interest group.”

Referendums are useless with activist judges. Look at Prop 8. Progressives will use any means necessary to get their agenda accomplished. However, I wish the best to Californians who are trying to stop this.

I think kids should be told about the downside of homosexuality.
Revolting law and God bless those who are fighting against it’s adoption. California is becoming almost beyond redemption, now. Between the homosexuals that are pushing, pushing, pushing their ‘agenda’ and are clearly aiming directly at children (surprise, surprise!), illegal aliens and the ‘entitlement’ class of takers, who is going to be left to support this mess? Pleasant weather and beaches won’t keep the decent people from leaving. Businesses would be insane to remain in California much longer. Yet those who do remain apparently can’t get enough of liberal Democrat politicians like Jerry ‘Moonbeam’ Brown and the Democrat-majority legislature that push through these ridiculous laws. Fine. After 30 plus years of repeated proof that AIDS is a direct result of homosexual contact they insist on blaming science for not finding a cure.
Aids has been in the human Aids genome (not Aids disease) since man first started building cities and societies (and probably longer). DNA has shown the same persistence of Aids genome from bodies dug up in the time of the Roman Empire which means that the genome has been around at the same rate since man probably first started walking upright.
The physiology of male/female sexual intercourse involves enzymes in the female vagina which destroys any foreign DNA (Other than Sperm)
Even Sperm will eventually be neutralized by female defense enzymes if left to long.
That is the reason the little buggers have a heavy outer protective coating and swim like hell to get to the egg before the antibodies can kill them
Having Anal sex (between Males) has no natural protection. Each sexual intercourse of this means that each time the body’s defenses becomes weaker and more susceptible.
Eventually full blown aids occurs between men and women only through open wounds, and through the mouth.
But do they tell that in school? Not anymore.
Even Romans and Greeks (and others societies) which allowed homosexual relations knew not to have anal sex. Sleeping with and kissing does not spread AIDS (except when one already has AIDS. Young males in those times knew not to have relations with sickly males. Their societies knew the results of homosexual intercourse and educated their people about it (even if they did not understand the mechanics of how AIDS actually worked.)

Actually, signing the petition to repeal this law might help the public schools stay in business. I can’t imagine any parent reading this article will want to keep their kids in public schools after learning about the treatment a high school girl received who objected to going to a Harvey Milk assembly at her school.

The retroviruses which gave rise to HIV first evolved around 100 million years ago – about 85 million years earlier than previously thought, a team led by Oxford University scientists have discovered.
The remains of an ancient HIV-like virus have been discovered in the genome of the two-toed sloth. ‘Finding the fossilized remains of such a virus in this sloth is an amazing stroke of luck,’ said Dr Aris Katzourakis from Oxford’s Department of Zoology and the Institute for Emergent Infections, James Martin 21st Century School. ‘Because this sloth is so geographically and genetically isolated its genome gives us a window into the ancient past of mammals, their immune systems, and the types of viruses they had to contend with.’
The researchers found evidence of ‘foamy viruses’, a particular kind of retrovirus that resembles the complex lentiviruses, such as HIV and simian retroviruses (SIVs) – as opposed to simple retroviruses that are found throughout the genomic fossil record.
‘In previous work we had found evidence for similar viruses in the genomes of rabbits and lemurs but this new research suggests that the ancestors of complex retroviruses, such as HIV, may have been with us from the very beginnings of mammal evolution,’ said Dr Aris Katzourakis.
Understanding the evolutionary battleground between complex viruses and mammal immune systems could lead to new approaches to combating existing retroviruses, such as HIV. It can also help scientists to decide which viruses that cross species are likely to cause dangerous pandemics – such as swine flu (H1N1) – and which, like bird flu (H5N1) and foamy viruses, cross this species barrier but then never cause pandemics in new mammal populations.
If you want proof, go to a Doctor and ask him how the human reproductive system works to prevent HIV.
He will tell you the mechanics of the act of sex between a man and a woman and what protects (Both) from contracting HIV.
Then ask him if it is the same sex (Male on Male) anal intercourse and he will tell you that the result will be death
Since women don’t penetrate each other with bodily fluids except when kissing they don’t decrease their immunity as males having anal sex.

Hey dude, I’m no homophile.. I deplore homosexuals, and what their agenda is doing to our society, but I’m a stickler for the truth.. Your article although interesting tells me nothing, and sure as hell doesn’t support your claim. I don’t need to see a doctor to answer my question. I already know how HIV is transmitted, and to my knowledge the female sexual system is very adept at fighting off bacteria, and disease from foreign bodies.. I don’t dispute that claim, only the claim that it is male on male anal sex that manifests HIV? If that were the case, we would see it in more women who have anal sex as well, but we don’t, so...
