I am so glad you had a good day with your sister, Marilyn. We love for them to do what they can as long as they’re here. She is in God’s hands now and we have no say, even though we never give up on prayer!
I have a little story to share. My DIL, Gwen, called this morning to tell me they had moved her cousin Misti, to Hospice. About 7 or 8 years ago she had breast cancer. She had a double mastectomy and did well. Then just recently, they found cancer in her liver and she’s been in the hospital for about 8 days. They put in a feeding tube and had her on a breathing machine. On Monday, they took out the breathing machine and yesterday wanted to put it back and she managed to tell them no, she didn’t want that anymore. Of course, she worsened and is now in Hospice.
She is only 40 and has 2 young sons, age 11 and 13. Her family is having a hard time dealing with this. These are things that are hard for me to understand...to be so young and has to leave her family. I have been sad all morning since Gwen called me. I am praying for this little sweet family.
It's heartbreaking what a lot of families are going through and trying to make any sense of it is impossible. My prayers are with the entire family.
Of course and my heart goes out for ALL of them!
So sad, JC! I agree with you - some things are so “hard to understand”. Prayers for Misti and her family at this time.
MY prayers and with that precious family today.
I pray God’s comfort and peace over them and this dear Misti.
I’m so glad that she was able to communicate her desires.
Dear Jaycee, Misti and her Family are in my Prayers, and I'm So Sorry for all they are all Going Through.
Lifting them, with Love, to our Caring and Merciful King.
