I think farmers should increase their acreage of popcorn next year.

If he opposes Obama, does that mean he’s a racist?

Danger Will Robinson! The People elected a person who spoke like a Marxist yet he never was called that. Someone who promised an unspecified Total Transformation of America. Maybe they’ll vote for a frank Socialist, a charter member of DSUSA who will spell out the wonders awaiting a socialist USA?

Who do you all think this pig wants but won’t say? My bet is Cynthia McKinney as his choice.

Recall 2000 election. VP Al Gore unopposed in primaries.

The result was soon realized. Republican primaries were not countered by Dems on the airwaves/media. People only heard Republican anti-Democrat, anti-Gore arguments. Media had no reason to cover Al Gore, he was in no races.

Democrats quickly, maybe not so quickly, rustled up a sacrificial opponent for Al Gorbashchev, Senator Bill Bradley, and got plenty of air time thereafter.

Bernie, or some other egotist, will probably be conjured up so the Socialists get plenty of primary air time.

Wow! Somebody talk to Newt. Maybe we can borrow a few million of those fake followers he has on Twitter and give Sanders a false sense of strong support.

I think the best bet for Bernie Sanders is to run under the Socialist banner. After all, Maxine Waters and a number of Congresspeople have said/intimated that they are Socialists or are very sympathetic to the cause. Also, nearly half of the U.S. populace prefer a communal style life and many more would probably want it if Sanders were to run and publicize the Socialist theme.

If Bernie runs I will give a check to his campaign. I just checked DU and they are p***sed at Obama. They are even talking about throwing a shoe at him.

Things are really getting interesting!

Ditto. And make sure to run as a 3rd party candidate like Ralph Nader in 2000 if you lose.

Bradley wasn't a last minute fling in the ring in 2000.

What Gore did to him was criminal, its been alleged for years (and to this day), that Gore essentially cheated in New Hampshire to beat Bradley, basically killing Bradley campaign at that point.

There debates were also vicious, as Gore basically called Bradley a racist and implied that Bradley was responsible for racial profiling in New Jersey (the most common phrase uttered by Bradley during said debate was "Thats not true Al"). Bradley also announced his run before Gore did (not that it mattered, everyone knew Gore was running).

Even though he cauces with the democrats, officially, Bernie Sanders isn’t registered to the democratic party, how exactly would he run in a primary against Obama, unless he changed party affiliation? (something he is loathed to do).

Exactly. Bernie knows Barry the sellout needs to challenged from the left, but he can't sell his soul to the "corporatist" (well, I suppose George Soros owns them, so he is correct) Democratic Party. To do would betray "progressive" principles. So.... you gotta run as an INDEPENDENT against Obama!! Get on the ballot in all 50 states and take your case directly to the people. DO IT!!!

SANDERS/KUCINICH 2012!!!

Hee hee hee. ;-)

“Get on the ballot in all 50 states “

Sanders will have no difficulty coming up with his long form birth cert, school paperwork, medical records, college transcripts including loan documents, passports...
