A mysterious circle on a grainy scan, this is what scientists are claiming is finally evidence that Earth has been visited by aliens.
Researchers have claimed the fuzzy outline is a flying saucer that ended up 300ft down on the ocean floor between Sweden and Finland.
They were stunned when sonar scans taken while searching for a century-old wreck showed up the shape against the dirt.

I saw this exact same set of photos 6 months or a year ago. They can’t get somebody with a remote sub to head down there to prove this thing is a foolish notion?

I have serious doubts there are any actual “scientists” involved with this story in any way.

Probably from an Antarctic ice shelf that broke off, floated to warmer climes, melted and dropped its encased contents to the sea floor. I recommend staying away from the Thing.
To: dila813
Not at all possible that it is/was a replacement gun turret for a battleship that fell overboard from its transport ship when it was damaged in transit through a known transit zone?
The “front forks” not being from a starship, but the surrounding structure for the two much heavier, buried 14 or 16 inch barrels?

FTA: Now, however, his team do not have the money or resources to examine the shape further.
So, they can get funding to chase after some sunken champagne bottles but can’t raise funds to check out an extraterrestrial spacecraft? I guess they don’t have a lot of faith in their own claim.
Maybe Sir Richard Branson can pop on over there and claim it as his own, then reverse engineer the propulsion technology and retrofit all his planes.

It’s the Millennium Hummingbird. It was the “green” Ultra Light Freighter the Corellians made ... rumor had it they were so embarrassed by the sheer idiocy of the design. I think we know where they dumped it now.

Russian navy in the late 19th century experimented with round ships called "popovki". The Vice-Admiral Popov and the Novgorod were constructed as heavy-gun, shallow-draft (cue Lt Chekov) "wessles" for guarding coastal cities and river mouths.
Supposedly they were scrapped in 1912, so I can't imagine one of them ending up on the bottom of the Baltic.
To: TexasFreeper2009
One of my Millenium Falcons is missing. How did it get over there? Oh, I forgot. My friend from Sweden must have flown home on it. Salvage rights!!!!
Do you have any idea how much an intact original Millenium Falcon plastic model from the 1970’s is worth today, esp. if it is in the original box? Mucho dinaro, boycheck!!

You might be right, but I heard that the turrets fall off the battleships if they flip upside down so you wouldn’t need a transport ship really. Just a battleship that is on its way to Davy Jones.
