I apologize for the vanity, but some one at the University of Maryland should be fired and flogged for the football uniforms.
They are beyond ugly. If some one finds a picture, please post it.

I am a Gator man, but I have got to tell you that the uniform is not that bad! I REALLY like the cross on the shoulder pad and the side of the helmet! Just think of the heartburn the ACLU is getting looking at that!

I am not selling anything. I am a Chippewas fan (Central Michigan) because my daughter goes there, but it's a victory for the Chips if they can break into the top 100 Division 1 schools.
I hate Michigan and Notre Dame, which is rather strange for a church-going Irish Catholic who lives in Michigan.

If it was a star and crescent the ACLU would applaud it.
Maryland's flag has the cross because it was the only colony founded by Catholics. Today Maryland is 95% heathen.

The story goes that the mountain lions roamed Mt.Nittany until the late 1800's. I wasn't alive then, so I've never seen one either.
My favorite Obama gaffe is calling the team the Nittaly lions...in PA.

Supposedly, Nittany is an indian tribe that roamed those parts. I grew up there. Oneida was another, or perhaps Nittany was part of the Oneida tribe. Penn State Oneida Lions just didn’t have a good ring to it, I suppose.

Don't forget Boise State's and the Ducks' day-glo shoes!Boise State fan here. I thought them uniforms kinda looked like like an upside down version of those white plastic fake candles you get for holidays that flicker between two orange filaments.
